"So before I made a reservation. I looked at the Google reviews. I don't know what some people have for problems. we had a reservation for 19. when we were there, we were received very friendly and accompanied at our place. when our little daughter was in it, a child's chair was dragged in. in the selection of the order we were very patiently explained and had it easier to order. the lamb and the lamb we ordered were very delicious. of course we also enjoyed a night table. I have to say something so tasty that we have rarely eaten. unfortunately I forgot the name. we would come back anytime. love greetings"

"The Al Canevon is a small cozy place with Italian cuisine. And who knows the Italian meaning of a Trattoria does not expect any pizzas or an extremely wide range of dishes. On the map there is something for every taste and that you can eat a fresh cold sea salad even in August, speaks for the quality of the kitchen and the quality of the ingredients. The high number of regulars also speaks for good quality, because many knew the hostess and the hostess. Last but not least, tasters are now different, there will always be a dish, which is not so good for one and the other.The central location directly on the marketplace leads to a high utilization and the associated waiting times. "Wir sind etwa 3, 4x/Jahr in Ottobeuren und wollten diesmal den Hirschen aufsuchen, der von außen einen adretten, gehobenen Eindruck macht. Meine Bewertung beschränkt sich jedoch notwendigerweise auf das Willkommen, das der Gast beim Eintreten erfährt – die Qualität der Speisen kann ich mangels Konsumgelegenheit nicht beurteilen.Eingangs hat nämlich die erkennbar uninteressierte Servicekraft nur darauf verwiesen, man könne sich (alle Tische des Haupt-Gastraums waren besetzt) entweder irgendwo dazusetzen oder (mit 4 Personen) einen 2er Tisch benutzen... Vielleicht meinte sie auch, wir könnten uns auf zwei 2er Tische verteilen, das war nicht so klar zu erkennen. Zwei 2er Tische für uns zusammenzustellen kam ihr jedoch offensichtlich nicht in den Sinn und ich wollte ihr (und mir) dann auch nicht zumuten, das zu überlegen oder gar zu tun. Schon auf dem Weg zum Hauptraum kamen wir an zwei weiteren leeren Gasträumen vorbei, deren Öffnung aber anscheinend ebenfalls nicht gewünscht war.Na ja, wenn man sich schon beim Eintreten unwillkommen fühlt, sollte man sich tunlichst ein anderes Lokal suchen, und das haben wir dann auch getan (wen’s interessiert: den „Mohren“ gegenüber, da hat alles gepasst, siehe meine dortige Bewertung)."

"We visited this restaurant in August while on holiday in Ottobeuren. We dropped in for a coffee the previous day and made a booking. The staff were friendly. We arrived the following evening 15 mins early and our table was ready for us. We were handed a menu . After a while we noticed there was only one waiter serving and it was quiet busy. 30 mins later and we were still sitting waiting to be served. We were very thirsty and warm as we had a bit of a walk to the restaurant. We called to the waiter and after another 15 or 20 mins he came to our table. He took our order and then told us we would be another 30 mins waiting for a particular dish. Finally after sitting for 1 hour we received our drinks. At this stage we were ready to walk out but it was getting late and we were afraid we might not get a table elsewhere. We also noticed another colleauge was doing Pizza delivery for all the locals but yet this waiter was still working alone. When the food came it was average. We left very dissapointed and went to the Eis Cafe for dessert. We never went back."

"We made a booking at this restaurant after reading very good reviews on tripadvisor. We arrived just before 8pm and it was a very warm evening. We approached a lady who was serving tables but she did not speak English. She called a male waiter and we explained we had a table booked for 2. Our name was in the book and I know this because they wrote it in while I was there the previous day. He looked around outside where we wanted to sit and it was obvious that there was no table reserved for us. We went inside where there was no air con it was like an oven. He checked the book saw our name and called to the lady in the kitchen who took our booking. She has really good English. She refused to come and speak with us. The waiter was really embarrased and asked us to wait 5 mins. Eventually he called us to come and proceeded to show us to a table in the middle of the street away from everybody. This is where customers sit during the day if they want to enjoy the sun!!!!! We walked away. We felt we were treated like this because we were not German. If you do not speak German do not go here."
