"Wir waren zwei mal binnen weniger Tage dort. Ich hatte insgesamt die Lasagne Classic, Feigenrisotto und das Tiramisu. Alles war hervorragend. Das Risotto hatte eine perfekte Konsistenz, die Mischung der Süße aus Feige und herzhaft aus dem Speck waren super. Auch die Lasagne war toll: keine Fettpampe wie häufig, sondern sehr fruchtig, super Zutaten. Das Tiramisu war ebenfalls ein Gedicht. Der Service ist zudem große Klasse. Ausgesprochen freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein, höflich und zügig. Leider wurde beim ersten Besuch die Vorspeise vergessen. Darauf angesprochen wurde aufrichtig um Entschuldigung gebeten und das Dessert ging dafür auf's Haus. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Für uns eins der besten Restaurants auf Rügen."

"Skulle fira 75 års dagen med middag i Sassnitz. Blev tipsad om några restauranger i Sassnitz.(har bl.a. besökt Sassnitz ett otal ggr). Detta var mitt första besök på denna restaurang. Jag hade hört om att denna restaurang skulle vara mycket bra men också motsatsen. Här kommer min bedömning.Vi var två personer min hustru och jag. Datum söndagen den 9 Juli c:a kl 19. Det var bra med gäster, vi blev snabbt anvisade ett bord och trots att det var många gäster så kunde vi snabbt utan stress studera Menyn. Själv hade jag spanat in Restaurangens berömda Fish and Chips vilket jag valde medan hustrun valde Matjesfilé med potatismos och äppelskivor. Det tog c:a 15 - 20 minuter innan maten stod på bordet. Ett mycket bra resultat speciellt som att måltiderna verkade vällagade och vackert presenterade. Vi avslutade med varsin Glass dessert.Maten då? Min Fish and Chips såg verkligen läcker ut och jag blev inte besviken på denna lite annorlunda rätt för mig. Fish and Chips är ju mer av enkel rätt som knappast finns på menyn i finare restauranger. Rätten serverades med Pommes, Gurksallad och Remoulade sås samt en Citron skiva. Jag hade gett rätten 5 stjärnor o inte om varit för Citroen var av yttersta skivan med minimal citronsaft (svagt att vare sig köket eller servertris observerade detta). Hade sedan Remouladen varit av den typ (Dansk) man är van vid så hade ändå 5:an varit befogad, synd för remouladen smakade nästan inget. Min hustrus Matjesfilé var till full belåtenhet och även denna var fint presenterad. Betjäningen var till full belåtenhet och man arbetade snabbt och diskret. Tänk om inte småmissarna med Citronen och Remouladen fanns så skulle jag mer än gärna ge absolut högsta betyg till König Gustav."

"We went here as it is rated the best restaurant in Sassnitz.The German-Italian we were invited to order our meal lead to some confusion as the salad to complement the main course was served as a starter and the two fish soups ordered specifically twice was reduced to one.That was sorted with only a ten minute gap between one of us eating our soup and the other being served the soup to eat.Risotto special of the day with asparagus was good. The penne with seafood was poor. Served pleasantly in a brown paper bag tied with string inside the penne was towards over cooked and the sauce seemed tired 50% of the few mussels in the seafood remained closed. The only other seafood obvious was one baby squid and tiny shrimps that seemed to have been cooked for weeks.Wine was pleasant and inexpensive. The message seems to be don't come to Sassnitz for the food.We arrived at 20.30 and by 21.00 everyone else has left. It seems you should eat early, if at all, in Sassnitz."

"Wir hatten dort die ungarische Gulaschsuppe gegessen. Sie war sehr gut. Nicht zu scharf und das Rindfleisch sehr zart. Als Vorspeise hatten wir die gebackenen Champignons. Diese waren frittiert und geschmacklich nicht so toll.Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.Das Ambiente ist wie die Küche im ungarischen Stil."

"Cutter and Coastal Fish Manufactory, with the largest fish counter on whole rugs, I have to go! I admit that I am currently a little pampered with fresh fish, after all we have just sailed the south-Swedish coast and half Bornholm and there are plenty of really good fish farms and incenses. But the Sassnitz manufacture can also be seen. It is located on the old port and offers maritime flair. At the first moment it acts like a fast restaurant, or like a canteen. You order and pay at the counter and then find a place with your tablet. The place is located next door... or in beautiful weather outside. We were very pleasantly surprised! The dining tables are located in a large space with panoramic windows and views of the port. There are individual niches and compartments and a “open” ceiling under which not only a lot of maritime decoration could be found, but also an old sail of a traditional sailor. Very nice furnishings! All picobello clean! Back to the counter, which is really a huge counter, with a very good selection. Fish in all variations fresh, smoked, processed in savory marinade or as salad and of course fish rolls. Delicious! We chose Matjes, normal and in Bärlauchmarinade. Since I was not allowed to add gluten-containing rolls due to food intolerance, and I had finally thought of taking my own rolls (welded, I asked the nice seller to put the beard liquor on my rolls. No problem until I get to the checkout. The cashier didn't know what to calculate. The colleague gave her the usual weight, which usually lies on a matjes fish bread. (Shouldn't be a problem. She then pointed out to me that this is a “exception” but the boss does not wish this. He doesn't want to bring his own bread. Chief, if you read this, tell me how to handle it as an allergy sufferer? Because you don't have gluten-free rolls! I don't ask, so I'll take one. And for hygienic reasons also welded in the original packaging. Where's the problem? Or should I actually order a fish bun without a bun, and then give it to myself in the quiet corner?
