Great German traditional food. Including Schnitzel and fries for 6€ on Sunday evening. But it is super slow: we waited 45!minutes after ordering to get our salad and Schnitzels ! Good freshly-baked apple “donuts” to round up the meal.

Good range of schnitzel, including vegetarian options which you wouldn't expect when you look into this traditionally decorated corner pub/restaurant. It was full of mahogany and classic bar signs which made it feel very cosy. The service was fantastic and the food was exactly what...we wanted. The apple fritters rounded off the meal perfectly. Great value for money.

Gestate Budike is a traditional restaurant/pub down a side street in Friedrichshain. Portions are huge and service is good. The menu is predominantly carving (no bad thing in my book), and is extremely good. There is an excellent selection of local beer, including alcohol-free...options. I ordered the Hamburger Schnitzel (pork schnitzel with a fried egg), with the fried potatoes, which was absolutely delicious. Would eat here every night if I stay longer! Ver carta
