"Beim Eintreffen die erste Überraschung: Die auf der Website verfügbare Speisekarte scheint so nicht gültig zu sein. Uns wird eine DIN A4 Seite mit einigen wenigen Gerichten überreicht, das sei die Speisekarte. Das ist schon mal ein extrem schwacher Einstieg. Die reduzierte Karte führt trotzdem zu Problemen, denn die Rahmchampignons beim Schnitzel, die seien noch nicht fertig . Also entweder länger warten oder was anderes nehmen. Wir nehmen was anders. Das Essen kommt, allerdings hat nur ein Schnitzel Bratkartoffeln. Eine halbe Schüssel, arg verbrannt und sehr trocken. Die Bratkartoffeln zum anderen Schnitzel kommen noch , sagt die Bedienung. Das passiert auch ca. 10 Min später, eine volle Schüssel allerdings waren die nur ganz kurz in der Pfanne und schmecken dementsprechend. Der Service erscheint insgesamt arg überfordert. So wird bei uns schon mal teilweise abgeräumt, während andere Gäste am Tisch noch essen. Dafür sitzen wir dann später fast 20 min vor einem unabgeräumten Tisch, als alle fertig sind. Die Preissetzung gibt erhebliche Rätsel auf. 25 EUR für ein Schnitzel welches vieleicht ein L ist, aber niemals das angepriesene XXL mit ein wenig Bratkartoffeln und Grillgemüse: Das ist happig und der Leistung völlig unangemessen. Der Unterschied zum Schnitzel vom Imbiss nebenan ist lediglich die Tatsache, dass es nicht in der Fritteuse zubereitet wurde. Bereits mehrfach haben wir hier in den letzten Jahren gegessen und waren bis dato immer zufrieden. Die aktuelle Leistung bietet keinen Anlass, wieder zu kommen. Da ist ein guter Lieferdienst die bessere Alternative."

I was invited there a few days ago. I can only say great. And I mean that too. the equipment rustic and beautiful, the staff very friendly, eating fast and super tasty, we were all satisfied and the prices fully acceptable. if I want to eat cheap, I go to the dönerbude... quality has its price and the kartoffel house has earned the prices!

Ich bin sehr unzufrieden das Restaurant ist sehr rasistisch . Ich wollte im Restaurant mit meinem Afrikanischen Freund etwas essen gehen und es wurde uns dort mitgeteilt das es kein essen mehr gibt und es war erst 18 Uhr. Wir haben dies akzeptiert und gingen woanders essen als wir am Restaurant vorbei gingen nochmals saßen da neue Gäste mit Essen somit war die Ablehnung zu 100% auf meinem Freund bezogen.Die besten Restaurants in meiner Nähe

the hallens kartoffel house impresses with great ambiente and good eating. the personal is very friendly and is present. behind the house are unfortunately only small parking possibilities. in the summer you can take a place in the small beer garden, which shows for happiness not to the road. eating is super tasty and there are actually always big portions that everyone gets fed. the menu is clearly decorated and the drink card is partly on a large bottle standing on the table. I can only recommend the kartoffel house.
