Indian Himalaya - Carta

Very slow service, but I guess the intention is to relax with the dinner party, while eagerly waiting for food. In other words, Don't come too hungry , as the food comes at least an hour after you are seated :)

The food took long time to arrive, so you should not be there when you are very hungry. But it is worth to wait because it was pure tasty. For each curry, you get free basmalti rice. The nan bread was also good! The service was great as the owner was very friendly.

Unfortunately, no Nan-Brot and the rice remembers more of Risi-Bisi than oriental rugged. the service is unfortunately quite unorganized so that they should plan a little more time. environment is good! for those who want to taste the first time Indian, absolutely more recommended, Ver carta

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Himalaya's last night. Excellent service, very professional and friendly at the same time. The food was delicious - we had chicken korma and chicken saag as mains and pakora and samosa as starters. Very good choice, we very much enjoyed it! Highly recommended!

At first I was excited because the people spoke English. However, I had to wait 2 hours to get my plate of chicken curry! Serving was fancy but if the food tastes bland. The yohurt drink was so sweet. In the end, the owner gave me a shot of peach juice for free and appologized because his cook was sick. I'd rather skip this.

after entering into the place they immediately have the impression of a rustic atmosphere with pleasant ambiente. the Indian food is excellent, the appropriate price is absolutely appropriate for the sufficient portions. the service is very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely dinner a couple of nights ago. Apart from the delicious appetizers and chicken saag and korma, we were absolutely impressed by the unique kindness of the staff. We arrived at the restaurant 30 min before closure and still we were warmly welcomed and invited to relax and stay as long as we wanted after finishing our meal. We felt at home - great feeling that will make us go back to Himalaya on the occasion of our next visit to Halle! Highly recommended!

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I told my friend that it smells so nice, fresh Indian food. I can't keep myself from going there almost every week ever since I have been there first. Take anything from the menu and it is going to be tasty, they way it should be. Balanced spices, no exaggeration, no fancy, just Indian food at its The Best. Thank you Himalaya for being here in Halle for people like me who love to eat home made food away from home but do not like to cook for themselves.

If you love indian this it the place to go when in Halle (Saale). An extensive menu tried so easy something for any taste. You can choose your heat in some of the dishes. On request I was served home made lime pickle which is a weak spot for me and it was very taste and good. Went twice during my stay and both the lamb and chicken dish I had was very good. You can sit out or in, it is clean and nice. Staff very very attentive, kind and friendly and speaks very good English. I definitely recommend a visit. Definitively value for money if you love your indian food. Ver carta
