Great experience excellent fresh food we really enjoyed high recommended!! Excellent food presentation.

Well located very much at the heart of the city. British-themed dishes such as fish and chips and steak pie; ok but not great. Service was friendly enough and quite efficient.

Apon arrival, staff were very polite and helpful. I ordered fish, chips and peas. The food was served quickly and was super fresh and tasted lovely! Highly recommend to everyone!. Ver carta

Been here a few times with the missus, always excellent service and food and recommendations from the Manager on duty ,we will be back again,,the best fish and chips Nottingham has to offer without a doubt,

We booked George's as it was always somewhere we went when I was studying at Uni in Nottingham. It was sad to see that it was VERY quiet for a Saturday night and was lacking the old atmosphere. The food was very yummy though and the staff very friendly.

Very dissatisfied with the quality of the Christmas Dinner tonight. Had the roast dinner served in the Yorkshire pudding, the turkey was dry, Yorkshire pudding was flat and tasteless, the veg was quite obviously straight out the freezer. We went on Sunday night on the 12th . Time of getting the food from ordering wasn’t too bad but I’m afraid was poor , they brought out to my wife gravy with her fish and chips stating they had no mushy peas. We weren’t told before hand as my wife would had probably ordered something else. The food was quite cold along with the restaurant but my main gripe is that when the waiting staff served us they leant over mine and others food instead of going round so 3 times I had a hairy arm in my face and over my food , I didn’t particularly like that the first time and said something but it happened twice more. They did knock off 20% because of the Luke warm food but it was still expensive for what...

We were celebrating an 80th birthday party and there were around 16 of us. Had to wait an age for the food to come and we had 5 hungry young children with us. One of them was served last and was upset that everybody else was eating! Some of us ordered the fish chips and peas and an extra side of curry sauce which arrived 10 minutes after the main dish (having asked where it was on several occasions) which had gone cold by this time. When it did arrive, I'd have been embarrassed to serve the stuff as it was so thin and watery tasteless. However, this minor inconvenience swiftly turned into a delightful prelude, as we were graciously accommodated at the bar. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, displaying exceptional hospitality despite our premature presence. Our dining experience took place in a charming, beach hut-themed section of the restaurant, where we were pleasantly surprised by the breadth of the menu. Accompanying me was a six-year-old, who was treated with such remarkable attention and care by the staff, making her feel exceptionally valued and special.
