"Aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen sind wir hierhergekommen, Zugegeben, landschaftlich ist es schön gelegen, leider hat man die Landschaft gleich wieder mit ordentlich Maschendrahtzaun "gezähmt", so fühlt man sich ein bisschen wie im Aussengelände eines Gefängnisses. Man möchte wohl nicht dass die Gäste vom Weg "abkommen". Dann gleich der Oberklopper: Eiswürfelreste im Wein! Wohl der Kühlschrank kaputt? Die Speisen, sehr wortreich beschrieben, entpuppten sich als gutbürgerliche Hausmannskost. Ob die "Vogelsberger Frikadellchen" wirklich vom Vogelsberger Weiderind stammten, war an dieser Stelle nicht nachzuschmecken.Der Service, zahlreich vorhanden, wirkte desorganisiert und chaotisch. Sehr störend empfanden wir das permanente Tische und Stühle rücken und von A nach B tragen ohne erkennbaren Sinn. Neben unserem Tisch befand sich der Lagerschrank für die Sitzkissen, da man sich während underes Aufenthaltes zehnmal umentschied ob man die Sitzkissen rein-oder rausräumt, nervte das irgendwann gewaltig.Fazit: Preis/Leistung stimmt hier nicht, Wein und Speisen sind für das gebotene klar überteuert. Da trinkt und ist man woanders besser."

"We were there with friends... I have to say that I haven't eaten that well in a long time. I had a schnitzel with gorgonzola and pears, it tasted very delicious... To finish, a delicious Styrian ice cream with pumpkin seed oil and pumpkins... Wow, that was delicious... The service was also very nice... Come here we would love to go..."

"Located in the idyllic hilly setting of acres upon acres of well manicured vines at what is probably Germany's best Staatsweingut (Federal State Winery), Baiken is an absolute treat when the weather is warm enough to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy fabulous cuisine with excellent Baiken Rieslings. I joined two German wine experts on one such warm summer evening, and we were all blown away by the setting, food, wine and the knowledgable and friendly hosts. It was all tip-top: the soup, smoked salmon, pork belly, medallions of venison leg, the desserts. When it was time to choose the second (at last!) bottle of wine for the evening, the staff literally dig a bottle out of the cellar that wasn't on the menu (at our request)- a 1971 Baiken Riesling- and went to the trouble to call the owner at home to get a price and the okay for us to open it. Then my friend had to perform quite the delicate operation (before a steadily growing audience of curious staff members!) to remove the crumbling cork and pour the precious nectar into a decanter. The bottle by the way was very reasonably priced, showed beautifully, and the rest of the menu is an absolute bargain. Overall, I can recommend Baiken with confidence."

"hallo, I ordered a pizza with salmon, cream-fraiche and baked cheese today (7.50 auerd it should give chicken bugs with pommes and a kind of mangosauce. (7,50 to dessert it should tiramisu (3,50 the pizza was on and not bad, but discreetly dry. the pizza was also the only dish I had eaten in the brigade. the chicken bugs were very nice, but the inner, absolutely nothing has to do with chicken nuggets. it's just a finished vampir. I would even say that mc donalds Germany sells better nuggets, for less money. the mixed salate was not fresh. I just tried a piece of salatgurke and saw the rest, so I knew that was not fresh. the tiramisu was totally wssrig and it was not well stolen. at the bottom the water has collected. the tiramisu was covered with a lot of impact cream from the sprhdose. they might think they tried to cover up. they shouldn't see what's underneath right away. Last but at least, the location of friends of the sun, I've seen a lot, but I don't have such a dirty and dirty food plant that you can only believe when you've seen it. I really wonder if a bit of money has ever been taken in the hand to make it look a bit tricky. berall laienfutter and even 5kg imer yogurt on the floor. that just won't happen. they are closed and I advise everyone to order urgently from eating. the prices for this fra anyway are inestimably high. it is regulated that the wange was perhaps more clean than the rest of the last, but who gets the entrance so bad does not put the kche like a world champion. "Spring 2016 On the occasion of a visit from friends, they encouraged us to visit an external economy. Since it was a Thursday, many outdoor farms had closed and so we landed at the Langehof in Rauenthal to make the day sound good. The farm has existed since 1566 and is one of the oldest buildings in Rauenthal. For over 100 years the family has been operating a winery there. In the meantime, the Rauenthal vineyards are managed by Lorcher Weingut Laquai. Matthias Klein and his wife are still responsible. The ambience corresponds to the typical rustic style of a street economy. The reception is friendly and accommodating. The guest rooms extend over two floors. On the first floor there is a table with the offers of the day immediately after the entrance. It can also be ordered à la carte. We decided: 1 times cattle salad with roast potatoes up to 10.80 € 1 times flame-cake classic up to 7.60 € 2 times three types of spy cheese (classic, meditteran, beard liquor) with hearty peas bread up to 6.90 € For thirst we have approved this: for me only a red cuvèe Mandelberg (Merlot on Pinot: Pinot) The wines were consistently pleasant and balanced, harmonious and with not too much acidity. The cuvèe was excellently aromatic and intense in taste with the typical Merlotnote, the Pinot Blanc was nevertheless perceived as a bit flat with a brownish aroma and little character, the other white wines were well found. The large part of the beef salad with roast potatoes was praised. The three varieties of spundekäs were very tasty and meet our expectations with the beautiful strong dark peasant bread. Only the flame cake did not arrive and was criticized for too thin and dry soils. Knownly, the tastes are different and other people in turn do not like the flame cake with soft and thick soils. The operation was very attentive and accepted the criticism of the flame cake and offered to bring something else. We didn't use that. I found him because I have tastefully eaten the rest, and also a little too tight. Cleanliness is not to demand and the toilets were well maintained. The noise level remains within limits, so entertainment is possible. The economy is recommended if you want to spend a cozy wine evening. 4* can be awarded."
