Gingerino's Kitchen

Amazing pizza really quick service, well worth a visit. Stumbled on it by accident thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the wall chatting very casual, maybe better inside in the winter,haha.

I’ve been to Gingerino’s a few times and never been disappointed, so felt like I should leave a review. Potentially the best pizza slice in Newcastle, of which there are a few very good ones.

Great guys, fantastic pizza at a great price. The restaurant was very busy when I arrived, but I mentioned that I was in between bands at a concert nearby and they managed to sneak me a slice of pizza.

The restaurant is managed very poorly. Orders are misplaced without any apology. The wait time for just one slice of pizza is over an hour. Only dine here if you are okay with sitting quietly and feeling hungry.

We visited here after we'd been to the farm. Decent sized slices for about £3 each. Bonus that we found a different one we each wanted to try. Our youngest is 6 and the slice was bigger than her head so you could definitely split a slice between 2 younger ones.

I was in search of a quick lunch around Ouseburn and stumbled upon this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. The value for money was excellent, the service was quick, and the pizza was the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely be making the trip back just for the pizza.

We visited for takeaway pizza. Friendly and helpful guy at the counter. Really like the orange of the exterior. Gives the building a unique look. We got x2 margarita quarters and x2 garlic chicken quarters. Cooked to perfection, reasonable priced for the high quality of the pizza. Highly recommend the garlic dip. Would visit again.

Used to be a good place to enjoy pizza it had gone down badly. Burned pizza, when you go for launch menu they look at you weird. It took them 20 minutes to heat up two slices off pizza after which I asked for refund and was told that my pizza can go in now. Had to point this out so it would finally be prepared. Don’t go if you want to be disappointed. As said it was a great place but since they moved it went down baddy. Not recommended!!!

The place seems unprofessionally run. The staff all look like they could do with a bath. No overalls are worn and their clothes are all of the type that many would wear to lounge around the house in . Several have longer hair and beards but don’t wear any kitchen p.p.e. The decor is shabby and I wondered what kind of hygiene rating they would have. Although not busy, the staff seemed to be disorganised, falling over eachother and lacking in training. They seemed to handle the food in an inexperienced, clumsy fashion. The only tool I saw being used was a pizza peel for taking the pizza in and out of the oven.
