"We’re currently working in Alnwick, spending a week there and a week back home in Manchester. After our second visit, we grew tired of grabbing Burger Kings from service stations on our way back. That’s when one of my colleagues searched for good Italian food along the A1 and discovered Giuseppe’s. What a fantastic find! My wife is Italian, while I’m not, but I’ve developed an appreciation for excellent Italian cuisine through many trips to Italy. Giuseppe’s truly delivers! We now make it a point to stop by every other week on our way home, and we eagerly look forward to it. Life is about the journey, after all! It’s conveniently located just off the A1 in Gateshead, and by opting out of fast food convenience, you can uncover the real hidden gems in life. This place is definitely one of them: great people, delicious food, and a positive vibe!"

I've visited this restaurant several times and have been meaning to leave a review. I went again tonight with a group of 10, including a 6-year-old and an 11-month-old. The service is outstanding, and it's truly the friendliest restaurant around. The food is, without a doubt, the best Italian cuisine you'll find locally. I've been to other nice places, but Giuseppe’s is simply the best. I will definitely be returning soon! Service: Dine in.

Beautiful authentic Italian bistro in the heart of Kibblesworth. We came here randomly for a lunch date and were thoroughly impressed with the delicious goat’s cheese lasagne and the Linguine Carbonara dishes. The richness and mouthwatering goat’s cheese lasagne with asparagus, grilled vegetables and fiori di latte was unforgettable!! The owner, Giuseppe and his chef are incredibly welcoming and lovely to chat with. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great spot for a date or a family meal out x Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly place—families were dining for lunch. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp/easily accessible for anyone with a wheelchair!

"The place seems unprofessionally run. The staff all look like they could do with a bath. No overalls are worn and their clothes are all of the type that many would wear to lounge around the house in . Several have longer hair and beards but don’t wear any kitchen p.p.e. The decor is shabby and I wondered what kind of hygiene rating they would have. Although not busy, the staff seemed to be disorganised, falling over eachother and lacking in training. They seemed to handle the food in an inexperienced, clumsy fashion. The only tool I saw being used was a pizza peel for taking the pizza in and out of the oven. On all other occasions the food was handled. I didn’t notice any hand washing or alcohol gel in evidence. The menu is quite limited and uninspiring. 2 of the 6 pizza choices include chicken which Italians would argue is definite no no! All pizzas are reheated to order which eliminates the possibility of customisation. I don’t believe the restaurant would stand out in many European countries, as pizza in general is of a much higher standard than that in the UK. In spite of the above, The basic pizza is excellent in taste (even though it is all re-heated). And for this reason it is worth a visit. Compared to other uk pizza restaurants which are typically serving absolute garbage, the food is way out in front. If you can tolerate the negatives I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with the pizza. However with a bit of effort, this place could be transformed into something truly amazing."
