"had a tasty Sunday dinner here at this weekend, that was the best. there was a good menu choice of roast, fish and vegetarian options. the meals were well presented and accompanied by a medley of fresh vegetables. I think the desserts, while there is a good choice, are a bit expensive. the waiting staff was more attentive than at the first visit. my only observation is that it does not seem to be a system of which are searched for tables and after the process. this has led to an earlier opportunity of bad service, but we decided to give the gloucester old spot another away, and we are glad that we did."

we were here for the night in our campervan, had a meal in the pub and it was fantastic, my husband had guts and I had makrele, nice and friendly and also dog friendly, thank you.

We returned after a long break and found the welcome very friendly as usual and the food prompt and better than ever! Good sized meals and staff attentive but not overpowering. We'll be back soon!
