there are lunch menus up to 18.00 clock. the restaurant offers food from the whole asia. the suppers are very delicious. You can also eat very cheap and good sushi here. Ver carta

dinner in the city part friedrichshain, near the hotel where we stayed. the street is full of caffes, including ethnic. beautiful because you can sit outside.We choose gobi for the varied menu and have two main dishes with chickens, mushrooms and kartoffels. faster service, even if dinner is a bit messy. stilbruch, along with the bill we find written that the drinking money is not included in the price (and therefore is asked for on slightly veiled wise). Sorry, because dinner was okay.

a menu with probably over a hundred spears from vietnam, thailand and japan and the location directly in touri and scene mile of Simon-Dach-Straße has kept my expectation at visiting the gobi damped. the predecessors of the gobi had also not kept themselves long.The positiw surprised me: both the warm dish with tofu in erdnussauce and the sushi were very good, the service attentive and nice and the equipment appealing. on the walls hanging pictures from the french colonial period. beside many tourists were there also natives.No mention of the name gobi: Mongolian or Chinese food is not there.

My husband and I were craving sushi when we walked past Gobi and saw sushi signs up. We decided to check it out. The ambience is quite nice and the waitress helped seat us at a pretty large table. In addition to sushi they have quite a few other cuisines but we decided we only wanted sushi. We ordered sashimi and a variety of rolls - most with prawn. While the sashimi was fairly good, the other rolls were mediocre - in fact they had lots and lots on rice on them and were huge! I could barely take a mouthful without choking. I would recommend the sashimi, but not terribly excited about the rolls. Ver carta

We didn't want to search for something to eat for a long time, so we decided to test Gobi as it was conviniently placed. Because of the warm weather, the outdoor seating was full of young people enjoying the cocktails and we had a free choise of practically empty indoors. The menu contains several various asian dishes from various nations. A quick pick and a short waiting. And I mean really short, the food came in some 5-10 minutes already. Ok, they arrived with a couple of minutes in-between, so some minus for that. From the taste, the food was ok, nothing special, and could be better spiced. Overall, an ok experience.

I was trying to decide if to give this restaurant 3 or 4 on the rating... I think if I could I'd give a 3.5 :P The Place had it's pluses and minuses.The atmosphere in the place was very good and the staff were very attentive, they were the best things. The menu offers Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese food, which is a bit strange but, ok... They have a very extensive menu of nice cocktails for 5 euro too, I tried 2 different ones and they were very nice.We ordered the platter for 2 to start - wontons, spring rolls, samosas, rice rolls, satay sticks and everything was ok. For main dishes i had the noodles with duck which I thought was pretty tastless and horrible but it was a huge portion! My boy...
