Golden Sands - Carta

We absolutely love golden sands Ventnor, hadn’t been for while due to this year but as ever yesterday fantastic freshly served food , Really delicious meals, the service by two girls brilliant . Can’t recommend this place more overlooking sea , perfect !!! Thank you

My partner and I bought scampi and chips from here on Friday. Food was lovely and had great portion sizes. Had some donuts afterwards which were made fresh so delicious! The staff were so accommodating they really make you feel at ease. Highly recommend and will be returning.

We decided to go to a seaside town for ice-cream after a visit to The Isle of Wight Pearl. This place is lovely and the staff were amazing the lady who served us was great and so friendly. We both had icecream milkshakes that were delicious. Highly recommend this place for ice cream and milkshakes!!! Ver carta

The best fish and chips ever. Considering the situation at the moment with covid the service was excellent and the price is very reasonable. The food was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. It was really hot and crunchy, just how i like it. Have now been several times and we'll definitely go again.

A small place and yet very clearly defined to comply with the Covid rules. The lovely young ladies were brilliant at ensuring everyone understood and followed the guidelines. The were very welcoming and helpful. We only needed a light snack so shared a lunch which was super, fresh tasty. Definitely recommended.

This was our refuge on a cold, wet and windy morning. We were greeted very cheerfully by the staff member there and well looked after. The vegetarian breakfasts were tasty, filling and hot and delivered promptly. All measures were taken to keep customers and staff safe. We enjoyed the view of the incoming waves from the warmth of the restaurant. I'd go back again! Ver carta

Have just spent 2 weeks on holiday as part of a large family group (17) and visited Golden Sands every day we had a beach day which was a lot due to the amazing weather. The girls serving us could not have been more friendly and helpful and in spite of the long hours in the tremendous heat they maintained a happy disposition throughout, they made each trip a pleasure. Food was good and with generous portions and reasonably priced. Ask for a Schmoo milkshake they’re to die for!

We are on a short break to the Isle of Wight from Warwickshire and are staying at Bembridge. We had a drive around the coast and ended up wanting to stop for Lunch in Ventnor. At first it looked like it just sold Ice Cream but when we saw the board we realised there was so much more. We had really nice fresh food and the waitress/server was really friendly and polite making it a really nice experience. We sat outside between the showers and were on the seafront. It was lovely :

Absolutely brilliant fish and chips on offer here. Simple and easy to order from. Initially it only looks like they sell ice cream but after asking others where they had bought theirs from it came highly recommended. Food is made fresh to order but only takes 5 minutes to wait but they give you a pager so you can relax and soak up some rays whilst waiting on the beach. Good portion size not too small not too big and the mushy peas were incredible. Staff are so friendly and smile every time you walk past!! Ice cream range is amazing as well would recommend funky banana. So good we returned the next day. Ver carta
