"very unfriendly place. we were part of a music summer festival (participants from all over the world usa, kanada, denmark, japan, finnland, holland, korea, china, taiwan, indien ca. 25 people with a concert on Sunday night, which ended around 19:45 in a nearby city. we wanted to book at 8:30 a.m. (the website listed opening hours on Sunday to 11 a.m.) and had even time on their online reservation service at 8:30 a.m. first they said we had to be out there at 10 o'clock. when we called back to make the reservation, they said they were overreceiving it and didn't want to work so late and so it couldn't accommodate us. so much for the hospitality."

The food was great and so was the staff. Really a typical old german restaurant. Wanted some typical german food ended up with Fränkisches Schäufele, beer and Malteserkreuz.

The old hotel that saved half a city in the 1728 fire is a great place to stop for a lunch. A dish named bierkutcherpfanner translates to the a meal in a pan for the men that brought the beer to town. It’s a good...meal on a cold day

good eating typical of swabia. friendly service. we have some sweet volatilized, and although no torte on the dinner menu, when we were asked that we were given a lot of choices, baked cheesecake, cakes, cries and apfelstrudel. we had one, all were... great! Ver carta

We ate here because we were staying in the hotel and had a long drive and we were glad we did. The friendly, helpful, English speaking waiting staff were all excellent and explained anything that was not clear on the menu. The pork we had...was beautifully tender and cooked perfectly.

the evening meal was a very pleasant experience, we tried the local dishes and we were not disappointed, eating was great, very tasty and beautiful presented. the service was excellent, friendly and with good recommendations for wein and desserts. the desserts that are worth mentioning were amazing. overall a very good experience, good price quality balance.

We are staying in the hotel of the same name. We strolled around the town and checked out the various restaurants. None was particularly inviting. We decided to eat at the hotel. Good decision. Service was very good. The key test: I was prompted to...have another beer at exactly the right time. Both our dishes (we only had main courses) were tasty. There is a good choice on the menu. We were too late to eat outdoors, but the dining room was pleasantly ventilated as it was quite a warm evening. Good selection of draught beers. We would definitely dine, and stay, here again. we sit outside in this restaurant in the middle of the amazing st. michaels church, and the glorious bells begin to ring! the friendly waiter comes and takes our order, the bells were an omen of great food to come! the meat, the fries, the sauces the...Salads all profiter. the carving was soft, the beer were of course exceptional. nine of us ate for € 183! we had two of our old German exchange students with alcohol and the 19% tax in whole Germany. still this pricing was great! 20 € per person, gor this great food? heck yes! by the way, here is a bottle of water more than beer.

Tired because of the Christmas market we looked for a confortable place to sit down a little bit and eat something. The Golden Adler is a typical restaurant offering local food and beer. The quality is not the top but in the average and also...the presentation of the dishes could be better. The personel serving at the tables were not unpolite but I have to say also not super friendly. We payed a fair price for what we got. The best point for this restaurant is the location since it faces the main church square of the village where the Christamas market takes place. You can definitely go there but do not expect too much.

"as a customer of plow for the last 6 years this time will probably be my last. I booked a table for the last Saturday night for 20.15 and was told to me when I had booked, we would have to sit and have an aperitif while. we waited for our table. no problem, this is of course Saturday night. at the arrival we were given into the wineable and a table. whether it was a communication problem between which the booking or the waitress took place, which impresses that we eat in the non-restaurant part. Of course, my wife was very moved before we even had a drink or ate. when we got our table, I had my jacket with me, by the way, nobody asked me if I wanted to hang him up. there were 3 waitresses in this night and the chefin. the first waitress asked if our order had been taken. my wife replied that we needed a menu where the waitress asked my wife if she could speak up, I can't hear her. so my wife, who is German, asked very slowly and loudly if we could have a menu, please we ordered our food and the brot and the delicious dives arrived. at this time 2 waitresses and chefin had been to our table and fell to notice that we had no serviettes. I felt that the service did not live up to the standard of the restaurant that costs 100€ per head. the night did not begin smoothly and I fear they could see it in the placement of the workers. maybe a little better training and courtesy. As for eating, I ordered three courses, like my wife. I would have ordered more, but for the choice. I loved my starter of duck leber and fish curs of seabass. the problem that I have is the same dishes that I had last year apart from some cannellini begging on my sea floor. the most important courses of venison and blackening were very subduing. my wives bite size parts of bauch gay and suck more tasteless pork and my underheated venison filet was so disappointing. the only thing that was fed on my teller, were the mushrooms, the comma cook must have dropped the black pfefferpot because my mouth burned. normally I love warmth! as for the desserts a soft and unimpressive mouse and eis with a small triangle of tuille not exactly the wow factor to finish a meal. I don't expect a damp radio from the baked cook. the other choice was stylton, port and coward. not very innovatiw. I just woke up in the 1990s. I understand that the plow has high standards when it comes to eating and maybe the menu does not change so often, but after a year and that goes for the ala carte it is time for change. This time was really the worst experience we had here. it might have been a bad day in the office. my wife and I treat us once or twice a year to a special night. This time we were sadly disappointed. I will not waste our hard-earned money when you visit the plow."
