"Found this restaurant in beautiful setting in the beautiful town of Collioure. To be honest we never get the chance to review this food and never will again because we left before we had a chance....We were sat down and excited to try the moules and frites and have a bottle of wine bear in mind we are eating dinner and just wanted to soak in the ambience and have something to pick out. The waiter came and we ordered the wine and one portion of moules he snapped "minimum of 2 plates otherwise I will close the kitchen". I told him ok then we just have the wine and he said we are restaurant not a bar. He was very rude and we had no choice but to say we would leave he snatched the menus away and turned and left. Now I would understand if they were full but there was plenty of empty seats. With the attitude I'm not surprised. Walk down 50 metres on left hand side you have the Bar Brasserie de La Marina we have one bottle of wine and shared a portion of moules. They were that tasty we ordered another portion ;) They were really friendly and would highly recommend. No reason to be unfriendly and rude."

One of many restaurants on the quay, this one is neither better nor worse than the rest. Service was good and prices reasonable.

Opens at 7.00pm, definitely worth a try. Doesn't look outstanding but we were pleasantly surprised, they served up a very nice steak but I would say Go for the fish, lovely.

On a stroll to the harbor we saw how good the mussels and frites looked. Had to stop. Excellent. And we had a cheese plate to add to the meal. Nice draft beer a a very good red wine made it a fun stop. Excellent service p. We would go back.

Stopped by for lunch during a short visit to Collioure. We ordered the salad with chicken. It was lettuce with some corn thrown in and a piece of sliced chicken breast on top. The chicken was breaded and fried and looked like a precooked, stamped out filet of some kind. Service was surly! Ver carta

This unassuming-looking restaurant is located on the quay and is a pleasant spot to dine outside. We ate sea bass fillets with prawns, roast potatoes, vegetables and the most wonderful garlic mayonnaise. The fish was super fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely eat here again.

We were impressed with the cheeriness of the staff, the great food - it was exactly what we were after - simply cooked local seafood served in generous portions with hunks of good bread and aioli on the side. We had their medley of razor clams, monkfish and prawns that tasted as if they'd just been plucked out of the sand (minus the grit!). All this with the backdrop of the picturesque harbour, a perfect lunch!

The standard of food here was simply not good enough, had fresh turbot and prawns with potatoes and some other unknown green veg. Turbot was fried and too greasy, potatoes also done the same way. Prawns had disgusting brown liquid pouring out of them when broken open. Wish I had checked trip advisor first! Service was adequate and wine was good, but you can't get that wrong, so not many positives. Would not go back. Ver carta

There are different ways of judging the quality of an establishment. In this case we just wanted a couple of coffees and some water- a very small order but the serving staff did not know that as we were trying to get their attention. The coffee was quite disappointing and then we had a lot of difficulty in getting them to bring the bill.We might be doing them a disservice but when there are so many choices I do not see why we would want to return and risk further disappointment.

I stopped off here for breakfast during a stroll around Collioure one morning, and it is a lovely little spot. I sat outside in the sunshine and has a continental breakfast quite typical for the area - half a baguette, a croissant, jam, a hot drink and juice. There were eggs and ham had I desired as well. Who I presume is the owner was very welcoming and even attempted English. Service was prompt. Morning workers sat thee as well having their coffee. I sat for quite a while reading my novel with no sense of urgency for me to leave. All in all a very pleasant experience.
