"First the plus point - the cooking is quite good if you venture beyond the items on menu front pages (in German) and order from the Chinese menu. In my opinion it is the best Chinese place in town in terms of food quality - an observation which proves once more that with Chinese restaurants the standard cultural framework of the educated middle class does not work. Which person with a sane mind would enter a restaurant with the idiotic name 'Gourmet Temple' -- and the Chinese name of the place ('The Wealth Comes to the House' or so) sounds equally suspicious. Also the unreconstructed shiny-tacky decoration and the gigantic aquarium full of tired fish do not instil confidence that this should be the place to go. But the problem lies elsewhere. The place is exceedingly popular with Chinese and Korean tourist groups who go there to rotate through their set meals at a rate of two groups per hour and table. This consumes most of the resources of the service and possibly also of the kitchen, with the result that the service is horrible and the food, while good, takes forever to be served. We had a small child with us. Dont go anywhere with a two-year-old where you have to wait one hour before even the rice is put on the table. A particularly nice touch of the service was that they shoved a few plates on front of us after 50 minutes or so and then immediately snatched them away with a muttered 'sorry' - they were intended for another table, or so it seems.Nevertheless the food was good once it arrived - at a time when, at the neighboring table, tourist group #3 were just taking their seats. So maybe we will go there again on some rainy November evening when tourists are scarce, hoping that by then the service will be less overloaded and the cooking stilll OK. I am not optimistic however - the rate of quality attrition in Chinese restaurants is often proportional to the number of customers. If that rule of thumb holds also for the Gourmet temple, it might go downhill at record pace...."

Just a short walk from the main train station, good variety of options including vegan, reasonable prices and very good service.

We visited Gourmet Tempel not first time with business collegues. You must order Peking duck day before. Very tasty and traditional Peking duck - from soup to desert. But be ready to wait. Staff is friendly, but Chinesse chef take his time...

Asked for take away kung po chicken for 6.50 EUR as on menu on display, was charged for 11.30 EUR including container of sticky rice that I didn't ask for. Hardly could find any traces of chicken among boiled carrots, cashew nuts and broccoli. Nothing similar to the real kung po chicken that we enjoyed in Chester (UK)! Ver carta

We go to this restaurant every year. There was a group of us and we all had the set menu. The food was delicious, it was a shame that we could not do it justice as there was such much of it. Amazing soup and the duck is delicious. The wine we ordered was not great and the service can be slow. It can be very hard to get the attention of the waiters. However overall it is a lovely place and we will always go back here.

I had the theory, "if I cannot find a restaurant interesting in a city where you are stranger, go to Chinese restaurant as it is almost impossible to prepare Chinese dish not tasty." However, this restaurant made me stop believing that. I had fried noodle. Yes. One of simplest Chinese plate almost impossible to make in wrong way. But, the plate I got had wrong noodle, wrong taste, uncooked vegetable and overcooked polk in it. Unbelievable.

My teenage son and I went for a midweek lunch and both enjoyed a filling meal for about £13. We had thought this was an upmarket place when staying at the hotel next door on 2 previous visits, and the lunch price prompted a visit.Pancake roll, sweet and sour soup, chicken fried rices and chili beef were all good, filling food in large quantities. Service was courteous and quick, and the setting is a cut above the average.Highly recommended for lunch. Ver carta

For a closing of business trip, we dropped in this restaurant, not the first time but maybe 4 times. I asked if they have Shao Xing Wine in addition to beer and wine and they brought a bottle of Shao Xing Wine. At first look I noticed it is written in Chinese as Shao Xing Wine I usually drink. I ordered it and they asked how to serve, in hot or cold? I said at room temeperature. They brought on the table. Four people start dringking and everybody says too salty. I felt it too salty, not normal. Careful look at the label, "Shao Xing for COOKING, Salt 1.5%" Oh my god! I never heard Chinese restaurant serves Wine for Cooking. Of course we stopped drink it. We claimed it is for cooking. Chinese...

Eventhough this venue is located on the main street of the City Center of Nuremberg, you could stil try your luck to find some parking spaces rite in front of the door. That was one of the reason why I went to this resto. Its written outside something about being an exclusive Chinese Restaurant, n its very tempting to check that out, rite?To me, it was just okay... A bit 'overdressed' and stil doesnt loose the Chinese Image of Kitsch but the food was very nice eventhough a little overpriced for Nuremberger' Standard. The owner has to 'work harder' on them... Its as easy as, if you are paying a certain amount of money you usualy dont spend at such venue, you at least expect to be treated nicer,...

"The rain did not stop and now something was recommended for dinner. The Chinese were booked, we have another table in the Indian when we come. Sure. Reserves are useful here, tables are not long empty until guests are back. It's not far from the main station. The restaurant is located opposite the bus stop of Nuremberg. We haven't looked into the parking lot. There are some tables in the outside area in front of the entrance. To the entrance goes up one side with steps, on the other side has attached a ramp. The toilets are in the inner plane. Service We were very kindly greeted and brought to our table. We had enough cards and we have time to look at each other. They thanked for the drink order and came to the table very quickly with friendly words. The food order was accepted when we closed the cards. Our order was so no problem and it was communicated, but very much. The soups came fast, a good appetite was desired and also asked under food if everything fits. The empty bowls were asked if it tastes us. There was also a pleasant waiting period until the main course and the selected appetizer were served. It came at once and you wished a good appetite. It was asked several times under the food whether everything fits, whether it tastes or whether we need something else. The empty plates immediately noticed them and asked if we were satisfied and tasted. It was also asked if we wanted something else. We then also shared that we would pay, had drunk almost empty. Rasch reached us the Bon, thank you, wished us a nice evening and we were very friendly. There was also a small conversation with the lady about our dialect and where we come from. On leaving the other service staff there was also a passport. The service is uniformly dressed here, super beautiful, attentive and friendly. Very happy 5 stars. Food There is a printed card that is coated here. Some of them are some pictures inside. There are the typical dishes you know from so many Indians. It is also possible to pick up dishes or partially deliver them. There is also a department with lunch under the week. We had two dark wheat at 3,90 € per, Dal soup – delicate lentil soup according to Mumbai type with fine herbs for 4, € , Malkatani soup – sharp soup with rice, lentils and chicken meat for 4,50 € , Chicken Pakora – roasted chicken meat with chickpea flour and with spices that had given for 5,50 € seafood, Garlicu Na a spicy flavor with many different flavors The rice was not too overloaded and boiled to the point. The chicken meat in smaller pieces, but still very juicy and delicate. Fresh herbs were spread over the top and the soup itself was also refined with herbs. Yellow lenses were used at the Dal soup and there were also parts of it with inside. A beautiful herbal flavor came through and here again a selection of different spices in the taste. Although not sharp, yet sharp. She was very hot. The dishes were served extra and the dishes were preheated. The cutlery was served on a plate with napkins. Achari Chicken Tikka – the dish still smoked at the table. The chicken pieces were super delicate and juicy. They were marinated and the garlic came through very well. From now on it is also very tasteful to Indian spices. Mixed Pickles now know something else. There were different vegetables here that we were cooked more than inlaid. Onions and paprika were present. There were some raw foods such as salad, cucumber, white and blue herbs. And of course a piece of orange could be saved. Everything was very seasoned and costly. The sharpness came through the sauce. I'm sorry, the photo is a little playful. That was sufficient, very hot and had neat. Here was sharply present, but not those who so much hurt, but very tastefully oriental tasty sharpness. Many different flavors but still sharp. It was refined with fresh coriander. Very delicious. Add a bowl of floury, granular cooked rice, which had also obtained spices during cooking. A rice with taste. A few yellow pieces of rice gave some color with him and some fresh coriander over there. The Naan-Brot was very fluffy, but also partly crispy. It had a light oily movie that you could taste the garlic very nicely. It was still lukewarm and tasted us. At the Chicken Pakora there were also raw food from white blue wort and yellow ointments. The chicken pieces rode wonderfully crispy. Very delicate and juicy and here again, you know how to use oriental spices. There was nothing to complain about. There were three dives. In the green we have the indication that this is sharp. Even he wasn't too exaggerated, but who doesn't dare sharp is nothing for him. The white was a mint lace, but it only tasted mint and had a light herbal flavor. The red was sweeter and creamier, somehow tasted after jam from different fruits. We were thrilled by eating alone through the different flavors, 5 star ambience Because of Corona no stars, only once know what to do and what not. It's a corner house and you have a window front almost everywhere. Large flower sticks decorate the windows and there are benches and glass tables. There are small tables with chairs in the middle of the room. The tables have glass plates and underneath is a kind of flower pattern. There are various oriental pictures on the walls that are partially illuminated. The benches are covered with red and beige fabric. On the table are pink LED lamps. Cleanliness tables are always erased in the same way, guests must wait a bit before the tables are replaced. We couldn't find anything negative in the restaurant. On the toilets the usual dust traces, but the floor remains when walking. When you look at this, you can also see that it is only cleaned quickly. Everything's clean. Four stars are kind of weird. The hotel wanted a negative test when making restaurants that you want to use the Luca app, others still have notes and pen."
