"I love Japanese food pretty much everything from sashimi to takoyaki. But my husband always sticks to teriyaki, tempura, gyoza California rolls. After being in Europe for months I was in the mood for Japanese... TBH the All You Can Eat concept made me hesitate. The fact that it offered Japanese, Chinese, and Italian made me doubtful. That said, seemed a good way to encourage my husband to try more variety And since plates are small, lots of other things to go for 2nd round if he didn 't like it. Ordered sashimi, sushi, and just in case, tempura... Well surprise surprise surprise! He liked everything! Round two he said, You just order, I 'm loving this sampler system! This is the Ligurian Coast so of course TONS of fishing in this area. The fish at Gran Caffe was fresh and nicely prepared. All the dishes were tasty. In fact, we chose a high end Japanese restaurant in Rome later that trip cuz now he 's a fan of Japanese food! This place does seem to draw groups with varied tastes. The two couples at the table next to us: women were eating Japanese. One man was eating Chinese and one Italian. TBH the Italian looked meh. But WTH goes to an Asian all you can eat for caccio e pepe? Maybe spaghetti alle vongole would have been a better option... We went back a second time before we left town: just as good then. Going back in Feb 2023!"

we did the classic all can you eat with sushi and we were fine. good variety and we ate well. Nice staff. relaxing place.

The food is terrible! Steak had so much gristle it was barely edible. Half of our sushi items went uneaten they were so bad. Forget sending anything back, they argue with you and charge you anyways.

If I could give this place a negative rating if I could. This place is absolutely awful. Sent everything back and still had to pay for everything. Please, please, please......dont even consider going here. The waiter was rude and didn't even co side our request to remove some items for the check. Again I say.......dont do it!!

the great coffee is a place where the fish is always fresh and well matched, there are many proposals for both those who love the raw and cooked. besides the sushi also hot ports are always oca and balanced. the staff is always kind and helpful; I've always been away and they've always treated me very well, and they've improved the place a lot. absolutely recommended for those who love sushi!
