I thought it was a shame that you didn't get any salad sauce but had to make it yourself. My partner thought it was a shame that there was nothing vegetarian on the menu. Ev. A point where one could add. Nice place

I had a beer and water to take. I got a 1.5 liter bottle and paid for everything 4th-second super-friendly and patient with my not perfect Italian. I felt very welcome. I will come back and order food, inside was a company and they were very satisfied.

Ein körniger, ccremiger Risotto, wie man ihn in einem Grotto erwartet, wurde uns heiss serviert. Die Merlot-Flasche stand bald auf dem Tisch und der Salat war frisch. Die Wirtin hat uns unseren Hunger angesehen und bot unaufgefordert Nachschlag an. Hungrig schmeckt es ohnehin nochmal besser. Ein Apfelkuchen, wie man ihn von der eigenen Grossmutter noch kennt bildete das Dessert. Fazit: Einfache, unkomplizierte und gute Gerichte, kleine Karte sowie freundliche und familiäre Bedienung. Immer zu empfehlen.

we have made a day trip to bellinzona to visit the castles. we have walked up to the castel sasso corbaro. as we have read the good reviews, we are of course in the grotto dei pacifici and have eaten very well and cheaply. we do not control the Italian language, but the owners speak something German and we would be very friendly. we have ordered gulasch and polenta. the polenta is the best I've ever eaten. the price-performance ratio is very good for Swiss conditions. this grotto is highly recommended for lovers of the tessin kitchen.
