"we have made a day trip to bellinzona to visit the castles. we have walked up to the castel sasso corbaro. as we have read the good reviews, we are of course in the grotto dei pacifici and have eaten very well and cheaply. we do not control the Italian language, but the owners speak something German and we would be very friendly. we have ordered gulasch and polenta. the polenta is the best I've ever eaten. the price-performance ratio is very good for Swiss conditions. this grotto is highly recommended for lovers of the tessin kitchen."

So stellt man sich ein Grotto vor: lauschiger Garten, freundliches Wirtepaar Merlot aus der Tazza. Ein kleines verstecktes Juwel. Wandergruppe aus Basel.

I thought it was a shame that you didn't get any salad sauce but had to make it yourself. My partner thought it was a shame that there was nothing vegetarian on the menu. Ev. A point where one could add. Nice place

I had a beer and water to take. I got a 1.5 liter bottle and paid for everything 4th-second super-friendly and patient with my not perfect Italian. I felt very welcome. I will come back and order food, inside was a company and they were very satisfied. Ver carta

Wir waren auf der Burgenwanderung und kehrten für eine kleine Stärkung im Grotto ein. Als wir was kleines zu Essen bestellen wollten, wurde uns gesagt, dass es leider nur noch Getränke gibt, da sie zwischen 14.00 und 16.00 Uhr schliessen. Es war erst 13.35 und wir fragten nach einem kleinen Tessinerteller, welchen wir schlussendlich auch bekamen.Das Essen war ganz gut, die Bedienung OK.
