"I had such an amazing evening at this restaurant while celebrating a birthday party. The atmosphere is so authentic, and you instantly feel welcomed. The owner is friendly, polite, and very entertaining. The staff is efficient and warm, providing excellent service. I enjoyed the lamb and Greek salad, which were both generous portions. The lamb was incredibly tender and full of flavor, making it a delight to eat. They also have a beautiful selection of wines and dessert options. I tried the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream—delicious! The owner even played some Greek music and led us in a little Greek dance. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a restaurant where you feel special and at home."

"During our visit to Teignmouth in Devon, we stumbled upon this charming little café for a bite to eat and a drink. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent; our order arrived quite quickly. I had a delicious sandwich with cheese, while my companion enjoyed a cheese and tomato dish, both served with salad and coleslaw. We washed it all down with a lovely cup of tea, making for a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!"

"A return visit for us. We have wanted to try the dinner menu after having lunch here a couple of times. Overall a pleasant experience with a good range of dishes. Extensive wine list. Comfortable lounge for pre dinner and after dinner coffee. More a hotel restaurant than one with walk ins simply because of the location. Lovely gardens and worth arriving a bit early to take a walk."

"I stumbled upon this fantastic place on a cold and windy Monday in January. I treated myself to a delicious full English Captain's breakfast, complete with two eggs, two tasty sausages, bacon, hash browns, beans, mushrooms, and fried bread. I also enjoyed a pot of tea. The prices were reasonable, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly. The cafe had a great atmosphere and offered lovely views of Shaldon beach. The downstairs area was dog-friendly, making it perfect for beach walks."

"Really liked this place! Arrived early for lunch and had a couple of drinks in the beer garden. Just so quiet and tranquil with a stream at the bottom. Perfect spot. Went inside for food, slightly old world feel but was actually so relaxed, table by the window with those views. Was Sunday so roast in order, with beef, pork and chicken. Meat was very generous and heaps of shared veg. Had whole plaice myself which was fresh and cooked perfectly, with a basket of chips. Had deserts and stayed ages!!! Not expensive, mains were £15 but very good value. Absolute gem of a pub!!!"
