"My friend and I went yesterday (27/09/23) for lunch. We 've not been there for a while. Nice atmosphere, cozy, super clean and beautifully decorated. We both chose the fish pie which was delicious, as was the accompanying watercress, pickled red onion and pea side salad. Rounded off with a lovely dessert and a cappuccino coffee, which was one of the best I 've had dining out in a while. It turned out to be a lovely, unrushed meal, enabling us to catch up without worrying we were taking up the table for too long. I would imagine though the evening and weekend trade would be very busy, which might put the pressure on diners. The staff were courteous and efficient. The only issue and in no way should this be taken as a complaint firstly the way the menu is priced is 'interesting ' and, secondly, a service charge is automatically added to your bill. Paying by card I didn 't notice this. I found out as I attempted to hand over a gratuity as I hadn 't noticed this info on the card reader. The young gentleman and I chuckled over this as what I wanted to hand over, was greater than the applied service charge. We will visit again. It was also nice to discover our trip there bore no resemblance to those negative experience reviews I 'd read before visiting."

"First time I have been since lockdown in caravan for over a year...not disappointed at all..well organised ...friendly reception by senior and junior members of staff ...relaxed ...Good specials choice and a great menu overall...would like to try it all ! Choice not easy ..crab risotto starters lovely..not a small portion..Sunday roast great portion and no need for that downer where you have to ask for more gravy !.. Nice wainwrights ale ....no room for dessert ! Very enjoyable ...Will be back ..go on treat yourself..go local ...every village should have one so support it"

"We came to Milanos yesterday afternoon with friends who have been before and raved about it and I can understand why now . The restaurant is beautiful , staff go above and beyond and the food was amazing and not over priced . New gin cocktails menu which was perfect . Very relaxed and chilled with beautiful views . They have private rooms for family events that were perfect for celebrations birthdays , anniversary’s . We will be back . Thank you Milanos"

"I'm a member of the gym, so I eat here regularly, along with my children too. there is something for everyone to suit every taste. it is all cooked fresh and tastes divine. a special favorite is the avocado smash, the salads are colorful and super...Sty, and the children love the healthy pizza. we can not leave the gym without a super tasty smooth for the road, as they go down a leak with us all and are super refreshing. if they haven't tried yet, check them!"

"Now serving food! New management has brought this pub back to life at last! I had salt and pepper chicken sizzler (set smoke alarm off lol which was delicious! Only thing I wasn't keen on was oven chips(which keeps the prices down but I would pay more for home cooked chips or skin in fries. Usual pub type menu most dishes a bargain at £7.95. I like real ales and they had 3 on tap(Wainwright's, Doombar and Black sheep. I had black sheep and it was a decent pint and just over £3 a pint. I would definitely now recommend this place, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere has definitely improved, also becoming more popular again. Will definitely be going again!"
