Absolutely brilliant!!! The staff are top of the range and the sunday roast take away was amazing. We will be eating in next time as we enjoyed the ambiance of the lounge bar so much. Excellent .

we were happy to go to one of the local pubs for lunch and this place has definitiw not disappointed! nice eating and massive portions, homemade clobige chips and the staff is very friendly! would recommend

Stayed over Saturday 19/3/22 one night. Very cosy pub, rooms basic but modern and very clean and spacious.Tea/coffee.facilities. Sky TV. We had a meal there and it was excellent and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back on our visit to Caephilly. Ver carta

went for a meal last night, what a meal, the cook understood what a rare steak was and the mix grill was second to none. the haste was so attentive and with a good sense of humor and the meal great. there was no hurry, the ale was on the square and the laughing floss. I would recommend this wonderful facility to everyone and can not expect it again to another beautiful meal.

After hearing all the talk, I decided to check out this pub. Big mistake! I ordered the garlic mushrooms to start, but they were drenched in garlic oil and extremely messy. I've never had such low-quality appetizers. The chicken tikka curry was tasteless and lacked sufficient meat. The cheesecake for dessert was nearly gelatinous. I wouldn't suggest this place or come back again. It's not worth the money and the food is barely edible.

When our curries finally arrived, it was evident that they had been microwaved and the rice was sticking together in a lump. My curry was not hot at all, and after sending it back to be reheated, we had to wait for a considerable amount of time. When the food finally returned, the portion size had increased significantly but the taste was still bland. Overall, we had a terrible experience and paid full price for it. wanted to eat locally, but ventilated something really delicious to eat. halfway was perfect! warmer, inviting, cozy pub. the girls that served us were beautiful. sky took our order and gave amazing table service, nothing was too much annoyed for them. I had chicken and garlic mushrooms, wow, it looked all homemade and tasted like my inmates. my partner had a sirloin and it was melted in your mouth! we will definitely make this a regular place to eat!

what an amazing place! we have made a walk today for a few drinks and a meal, we have taken puppies with us and was welcomed at all without problems, we choose to sit out of the way the big groups to ensure that our doggo could not get excited and others could eat in peace! we ever ordered a mixed grill, eating was amazingly cooked! the best chips I've ever had. pupper loved the huh! and the staff was absolutely beautiful! we will be 100% back for eating or drinking or both! such a beautiful atmosphere. and again the employees were absolutely amazing and beautiful! could not have asked for a better service in the whole round!

We had a delicious Sunday lunch as a family in November or December (since new owners took over). The variety of meat on the mixed platter was tender and tasty, and the selection of vegetables was excellent. Just be careful when handling the hot gravy in the glass bottle. It was the best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time! Our family of 8 visited in early December and we all enjoyed our meals. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the fish was delicious, and the turkey pie was fantastic. The only feedback I have is that the pasta carbonara and chicken coujons were a bit too spicy for our little one. It would be helpful if they were made less spicy or with less pepper.
