"H.A.T. is a great restaurant option in Pisa. This is mostly a burger-and-beer place, although certainly not typical (of burgers, or of Tuscan cuisine). Their burgers are very good; not juicy, American-style burgers, but rather ones with large brioche buns, and unusual toppings (white bean puree, broccoli, radicchio). No fries here...excellent roasted rosemary potatoes take the place very well. And they have a great beer selection (probably ~80 beers of varying styles all made in Tuscany), including IPA's, doppelbocks, lagers, and also a chestnut-flavored option. H.A.T. focuses on local food, local beer, without being precious about it, and the result is excellent. Very contemporary setting, informal, in an old building along the river, just a minute's walk from Ponte di Mezzo. Highly recommended!"

This place we found through trip advisor and was concerned about the reviews but given they were from so long ago we thought we would see for ourselves as we love a burger. I’m so glad we did because our burger was super tasty, we actually didn’t need the chips as the burger was so big. The lady serving was really friendly and helpful in picking a drink. I went for the biggest burger available and it was HUGE!! Make sure you visit!

We came here for dinner. The place has a relaxing atmosphere, no loud music, very clear and light colours, even a small playground for children. Service was very kind and the waiters were eagerly available to explain the menu and hear from our requests. And the hamburgers! Oh! We think these were the best we ate (outside the U.S. , definitely. All ingredients (and all beverages! Beers and sodas alike are local, the meat is fantastic and also the pairing between tastes in the hamburgers is well studied. This is a place definitely worth going (the patrons told us that english languages menus will soon be available, but even if you point blindly to an italian menu entry you won’t be mistaken .
