"Today myself and my husband drove from Blairgowrie to Comrie to visit this quaint village. We had been told about the wild hearth bread they stocked and also strathearn cheese , we were equipped with cool box to purchase several cheeses etc from this shop only on arrival to be met by a very rude female who was serving on the till to be told “ we are closed for lunch “ why was the door open and customers in the shop ?? We were asked if we knew what we wanted we said yes and she grudgingly let us in ,so we managed to get a cheese and some butter but nothing else . What had started out to be a nice shopping experience was ruined by rude staff . Maybe in future if you are shut for lunch close the door and put a closed sign up !"

I love Hanson's. It's my happy place. I've known Comrie all my life and I'm so glad the village has a place like this. Just wish the wee sit-in bit could open again.

Wonderful location. Service was great but the cakes were outstanding! The selection was amazing and if it had not been for the breakfast we had just eaten, I would have like bought lots of cheese. Ver carta

Some friends recommended a trip here for some cake and it didn't disappoint. We popped in early in our stay at St Fillans and got some that were so good we had to get some more at the end of the trip. Massive pieces of cake and relatively cheap too.

The cafe 's are shut on Monday 's Tuesday 's in Comrie so the Deli was a god send. They also do home made ready meals. I had a beef soup (delicious). Do try the 'Wee Comrie ' a delicious runny cheese great on oat cakes. Lovely helpful staff. To the lady at the cash desk I did swim 4 lochs and a river and survived!

We are very lucky to have this wonderful deli on our doorstep. The fresh seeded, granary and sourdough bread is amazing, the cake counter is always stacked with treats, the soup is great and the staff are just lovely. They even stock our favourite Lussa gin from Jura. Recently rated by The Times as one of Scotland's best delis...well deserved! Ver carta

We were looking for Breakfast and having been given this recommendation were not disappointed. I had the breakfast on a baguette and my father had the breakfast on two Scots rolls. Bread was fresh the food was well cooked and hot when it arrived. the Coffee is excellent and again hot on arrival. The staff were very friendly, quick efficient and couldn't do enough to serve us. We also bought some Cheese and Olives from the excellent Deli they have. Thanks once again from Morley !!

We found this deli quite by accident and what a lovely surprise. We were having difficult finding vegan and vegetarian lunch and a neighbouring cafe recommended it. I had the most delicious couscous salad and samosa and my husband had the broccoli quiche and salad both out of this world. I could have eaten two myself. The quality of the ingredients was first class. Super fresh and by a chef who knows really knows how to cook. Also the presentation was superb and it was place in a take out box with a transparent lid. We only wish we lived closer we'd eat there all the time.

"We visited to see the Beatrix Potter Exhibition with family who were visiting and spent a lovely hour going around the exhibition, however our nice time was rudely interrupted by the elderly lady working in the cafe with dyed black curly hair. We have one child with serious allergies, so instead of one child feeling left out and risking cross exposure, we packed safe snacks for all the kids going anywhere with allergies is an absolute nightmare, so we always do this. Most places are trained and appreciative of how hard it is to eat out with allergens and happy to make reasonable adjustments for this. All four adults ate from the cafe. When part of our order was delivered, we were told “this isn’t a picnic area, you can’t eat your own food, you wouldn’t take food in to McDonald’s” (whilst looking at the 2 year old eating her snacks) when I responded yes I actually would, we have a child with allergies, she asked if it was serious allergies to which I said yes and she scoffed and left, no apology, nothing. I must add that whether the children would be eating or not, they would still have to sit at the table and take up the same amount of space. Would the children also be prevented from sitting because they didn’t buy from the cafe? Still waiting on my food order twenty minutes later and having already finished my coffee and frustrated at the wait, I asked for a refund as we now felt hurried to leave because of how upset she was at the children eating snacks at the table without purchasing them in their cafe. I got the refund for my missing meal and we left without going to the shop or seeing the other art, it has left a bad taste in my mouth. We spent just shy of £100 in the place and to be spoken to like that was horrible. The elderly employee with dyed black hair really needs some training on customer service and manners. The way she looked at us as we left was awful, we will not be returning. This place is not welcoming of children or those with allergies I dread to think how they would react to someone who is tube fed, probably told to eat outside just avoid."
