"Absolutely disappointed beyond belief. Why even bother opening and advertising that they do food? We really should have walked straight back out the door upon entering. But we had read reviews and really wanted to try this place. The staff were disinterested. Pointed to a table where we were to sit for our evening meal. We were given what can only be described as filthy sticky pieces of paper that were supposed to represent a menu. The table was dirty and sticky with drink stains. Nevertheless we proceeded to order 3 main meals. Over an hour later we still had no food and not once did anyone come over to the table to explain why. The place was by no means busy. There were 4 tables with customers! After approximately an hour and 10 minutes we asked if there was a time that we could expect our food to be ready. Bearing in mind our order was for baby back ribs, a steak burger and a chicken skewer. So not overly complicated. We were told that there was only 1 chef working!. And that the manageress would go and check for us. She returned to say that food would be ready in 5 minutes. Approximately 10 minutes later the baby ribs and steak burger arrived. We had to wait a further 5 minutes for the chicken skewer meal. When it did arrive the chicken was cold and absolutely cremated. So much so that the chicken itself had started to disintegrate and a powder of charcoal remains were on the plate. Absolutely disgusting and inedible. Our entire party left all the food and we went to the bar to pay and left. Disgusted, disappointed, disillusioned and would NEVER RETURN"

"The impressive driveway leads to a stunning Georgian mansion that will definitely leave a lasting impression. Don't be deceived by the car park, as the best is yet to come! The mansion, built in 1722, is surrounded by 312 acres of picturesque parkland with lakes, situated on the River Uck. There is also a charming 13th century church, St Margaret the Queen, and a local cricket club on the grounds. Inside the church, you will find beautiful stained glass windows to admire. "My husband decided to take me out on a date night and asked me where I wanted to go. After deliberation, I suggested Thai Terre as we could walk there from home and had only been in there once previously so it was time to try again. We ordered the mixed starters, then I had one of the Seabass dishes and hubby had a steak dish with all the lovely Thai herbs and spices. Pudding was The Royal pot and Fantastica. Their menu has lots of choice for all tastes and dietary needs. The quality of the food was excellent and really lovely thai staff too. Its not the cheapest night out but it was lovely"

"I had an incredible meal last night! I'm not usually a fan of Indian cuisine, and when I glanced at the menu and didn’t see a dish I enjoyed, I thought I might not eat anything. However, I was completely mistaken. The waiter asked what I was looking for, and he assured me that the cook would be happy to prepare something for me. I must say, it was probably the best food I’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant, and the rest of our party completely agreed. The food was very fresh, and the staff was friendly. Thank you for a wonderful evening; we will definitely be back!"

"We ordered three roast dinners and a scampi and chips for my 12-year-old nephew, who inexplicably does not like roasts. The scampi was generous and served with beautifully crispy chips and a bit of salad. As for the roast dinners, they were fantastic—well-cooked, generous portions of meat, and perfectly roasted potatoes. There was also a decent selection of vegetables, including al dente cauliflower cheese. One nice touch was that they brought out an extra gravy boat and all the sauces without us even asking. The service was efficient and friendly, yet not intrusive at all. We also indulged in four desserts, which were delightful. Overall, our bill came to £120 for the four of us (including a tip), which felt quite reasonable considering the quality of the food. The pub's quiet atmosphere suited us well, especially since we were on a bit of a deadline. It was clear that Ringles Cross is well-run, and the staff seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great time with good food.
