Harlees Fish And Chips

Very disappointing!! over cooked fish!! and the chip taste awful! We have now changed to a different chippy. Harlees you need to step up your game!!

Kids cod is half the size, no toys now given and I’m sure it’s gone up in price too since we last went. £5.99 for a cod not much bigger than a fish finger and a fruit shoot!!! Not good value anymore.

this was our first time with this fish and chip shop and we were amazed how good it was, the fish was a decent size, the chips were perfect and their curry sauce was just delicious. I look forward to reordering them! Ver carta

very poor customer service and tested my elderly parents appallingly, even the simplest level of customer service would have not ruined my dad's birthday. my parents who were once a week regulars will now not darken the door again.

Just used the app to order takeaway ordered at 16.11 for 18.30 .APP took my money then in the receipt at the bottom said collect 16.40 (no warning) called in to confirm missprint ? to find food already cooked at 16.30. loads of customers with same issue.

I can eat fish, chips and peas for £11- £15 in pubs and restaurants and some places for less than £10 that includes a alcoholic drink! Never again! Absolute rip off! Fish tasted ok, however the chips no and I’m still hungry, oven now on for something else You live and learn! Ver carta

First, and last, purchase from this fish n chip establishment ; fish so soggy and dripping in fat it was leaking through the box. Curry sauce was actually awful barbecue sauce with a hint of curry powder.. It was so bad my teenage son wouldn’t eat it even after I tried to dry the fish out in the oven. I did wonder why the shop was empty but for myself.Now I know.

Very very poor service, left outside in the freezing cold for 25mins, 3 people that ordered after me received there meals before me. I only ordered cod and chips. Not to mention the 3 orders also picked up.I think they need to re think on who gets serviced 1st the person freezing outside or the person that’s just jumped out of the warm car, then to find most of the chips were rotten and hardly any battery on the cold ..very poor

We ordered our meal on Christmas eve from Harlees as we have done for many years, however this will be the last time. I am absolutely disgusted and livid at the service we received, we ordered online and were given a collection time of 6.20-6.30, my daughter arrived to collect and was told they were waiting for chips to cook to finish the order and to wait outside until it was done. which was fine. However she then waited a further twenty minutes to be called (which never happened and she had to chase it herself) whilst others were arriving, ordering and leaving with food whilst she waited. she then returned home with the order to find that one meal was missing.
