"The atmosphere was welcoming from the very beginning, and we were attended to promptly by knowledgeable and professional staff. The dishes were outstanding, rich with spices and cooked to perfection. The warmth and dedication of the staff made us feel comfortable and satisfied, showcasing genuine hospitality. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which arrived promptly and tasted remarkable. They also catered to our dietary needs and were accommodating to our children. We appreciated the personal touch and will definitely return. I highly recommend Tamarind to others!"

"This idyllic countryside location is nothing short of being a hidden national treasure as well as a Beauty Spot It was so difficult to resist giving it 5* as normally I would.To be fair to the public and to be true to myself. Actually getting there is at first like finding a needle in a haystack.Once you can overcome that, it will become a very special place for you to enjoy good memories. The owner and staff are very friendly and very accommodating to all the needs of their customers. I will be returning time and time again"

"Maaroni is my local as it is less than a 5-minute walk from me. Not only have I eaten here a countless number of times since it opened, I also get takeaways from here often. Unfortunately, this was the first time I had ever been left feeling very disappointed. To begin with, I was given a bottle of sparkling water with no glass, let alone lemon/ice/straw. Had to ask for a glass I was not going to drink out of a big bottle. It was difficult to explain things to our waitress, especially as we wanted to remove some pizza toppings and add on others; I had to show her the menu with toppings written down so that she could catch the spellings. Moreover, I requested for cacio e pepe, and the waitress confirmed that the chefs would be able to make anything off-menu. I had to explain what the dish was, and showed the waitress the list of ingredients for it. She went back and forth several times to the chef and I, and ultimately said that the kitchen did not have pecorino cheese. I said that that could be substituted for the next best thing, as long as the sauce was creamy, cheesy, buttery and peppery. When the dish arrived, it was a buttery spaghetti with a lump of cheese in the top. At this point, another waitress began to serve our table. Let her know that the cheese should be almost melted in; she took the dish back for it to be re-made which took a long time, by which point we had nearly finished our mains. After our mains we were told that we need to leave within 15 minutes, and we were not given dessert menus nor did we request the bill, it just arrived. I had brought my aunt and uncle to Macaroni for the first time and they were looking forward to dessert. It was highly embarrassing that this option was not even offered, and even more embarrassing that we were rushed off the table. There were 5 of us, 1hr 45mins is not enough time for a relaxed 3-course meal. If the restaurant is unable to honour a 3-course meal for 5 people, they should not confirm the booking."

"We were at the pub for the Summer Soulstice evening. It was good fun with fantastic music, albeit the music changed later in the evening and it wasn't our cup of tea (a lot of others felt the same). It was a fun evening and all enjoying themselves. The pub and garden were packed. The toilet situation was terrible the queues and the disabled toilet was out of order not good. Staff friendly one in particular, who seemed to be everywhere and doing everything was a lovely lady called Alexia I believe. Such a great person and working very hard. It was busy at the bar. We got the same round in for most of the evening so we knew the price. Our last round of the evening had one less drink in it, but the pricing was the same as the other rounds. Very strange. Not sure if a lot of the bar staff are experienced in customer service either. Lots good, but difficult to query the bill or discuss anything when it was so busy. Our second year at Summer Soulstice, we will be back next year as it's a very good event."

"This restaurant is very elegant. The service was superb and the atmosphere was delightful. We were able to find a free off-road parking space. The dining experience was excellent with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. The recommended dishes include Caesar Salad, Skinny Fries, Tempura Prawns with Sweet Chilli Dip, Baby Back Ribs with Barbecue Sauce, and Bread with Butter and Olive Oil. The restaurant has plenty of parking options, all free of charge. Overall, highly recommended."
