"During my visit to Edinburgh with my family, we stumbled upon Hau Han while searching for a good place to eat. I can confidently say that Hau Han is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to and I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Derek and the rest of the staff - Emily and another girl who served us (unfortunately, I forgot to ask for her name before she finished her shift). They went above and beyond, even giving my mother free Chinese donuts to celebrate her birthday. We were extremely satisfied with the food and service we received. I would definitely give it a 10/10 and would come back to Scotland just to dine here again. It's a shame there isn't one in London!"

Was going to order takeaway based on a friends recommendation but ended up eating in the restaurant. Absolutely lovely! All the dishes we ordered were delicious, staff were very pleasant, bill was more than reasonable! Great find. Would happily order, in or out, from here again.

amazing every time! I am koeliac and for over 20 years has been hau he my first Chinese disappointment and it was not disappointed! it was all I thought it was and more, and I had it many times since of them to order quickly and easily and always comes hot and tasty with large portions. Thank you!

It's so nice to come across a modern Chinese takeout in Edinburgh that prioritizes healthy, high-quality ingredients (no MSG, etc.). The chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken were both fantastic. The only suggestion for improvement would be to include nutritional information, such as calorie counts, on the menu.

This was my first experience with Chinese cuisine and it was fantastic! As someone with gluten intolerance, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Chinese restaurant that was knowledgeable about gluten-free options. The service was excellent, with the waiter being very attentive and ensuring that our meal was gluten-free. I highly recommend both the food and service at this gem of a restaurant! Ver carta
