"We're a bit late with our review, but better late than never (sorry Haus im Sack Team My husband and I chose Haus im Sack for our last year's wedding reception in March and what a fantastic choice we made. The staff is...amazing, the owner SANDRA I cannot praise enough!! She is just marvelous, what a genuine soul she possesses, a smile that could light up the entire planet, her patience and professional style unlike no other, nothing is impossible for her, she always went out of her way to make sure everything marched perfectly on the day of. All of these virtues and qualities that she possesses, made our wedding day beyond memorable!! THANK YOU SANDRA FROM OUR HEARTS EIN GANZ HERZLICHEN LIEBEN DANK!! The room and table were so beautifully setup and decorated, exactly how my husband and I had enviosoned it and explained to her. The food was indescribably delectable!! Praise to the Chef/Headcook and his or her Team!! All our guests were impressed with not only taste but also presentation of food and service. We were impressed so much, that we're still talking about it :D! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYBODY AT HAUS IM SACK who made our day so unforgettable and who gave us a memory to last forever!! You all left us beyond happy :D :D!!"

Absolute recommendation. The food is just perfect. Small card with good bourgeois food. A little higher priced for this at an excellent level. A very cozy atmosphere and very nice service.

Great location. In the middle of town. Still very quiet. Very individual. Everything's perfect. Rooms, service. Very good breakfast. Delicious dinner. It's hardly any better. Thank you for the very personal care. We're coming back!

The house in the sack offers an upscale ambience and combines wonderfully regional cuisine with a modern way to arrange the dishes. The quality of the food is absolutely outstanding and invites you to come back to work through the card. Ver carta

Einfach nur phantastisch. Nicht preiswert, aber jeden Euro wert, für jeden der gerne gut essen mag oder seinen Gästen mal was bieten will. Der Koch, natürlich der Boss. Empfehlung an euch: typisch thüringisch. Roulade mit dem phantastischem Rotkraut und den Klößen. Zergeht auf der Zunge.

Das Restaurant mit dem ungewöhnlichen Namen gewinnt schon mal Preise für schöne und originelle Räumlichkeiten. Das Ambiente sucht seinesgleichen - nobel, rustikal, verspielt, sogar ein Separee für 6 Personen, im Erdgeschoss, auf der Empore - egal, man sitzt wunderschön!Die Speisenauswahl verlässt glücklicherweise die Pfade des in Thüringen üblichen!Der Service ist dabei äußerst bemüht und freundlich und flott.Das Essen selber überzeugt vollkommen - geschmacklich, qualitativ und quantitativ. Es ist mir völlig unverständlich, wie schlechte Bewertungen hier zustande kommen.Das Haus im Sack hat seit heute neue Stammgenießer :-), zumal das Restaurant anerkennenswerter Weise jeden Tag geöffnet hat...
