"We ordered cheesy marmite beans on toast and bacon with scrambled eggs on toast. The food was tasty, but the service was lacking. They were unable to make a decent cup of coffee - our flat whites were ruined by burnt milk. The real disappointment, however, was the condition of the restaurant. It was absolutely filthy. It appeared to have not been cleaned in months, with dust everywhere, dead flies on the windowsill next to our table, and coffee stains on the windows. The toilets were moldy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I shudder to think about the state of the kitchen, especially after eating there. If you do decide to go, make sure you're up to date on your vaccinations and plan to shower immediately afterwards."

To make great scrambled eggs that are not watery is a skill. H P manages it. The bread is incredible. Coffee is good and strong. Everyneighbour hood needs this cafe.

The cafe has a great atmosphere. Some of the food and drinks are ok. The service can be slow and they run out of things. One of the common criticisms is that the cafe does not prioritise cleanliness. Ver carta

Wonderful breakfast, scrambled egg excellent. Sour dough bread from shop next door was fantastic. Stayed for a very long time as chatting away and no hassle from the staff. Would love this place nearer to my home!

I am fortunate to live near this wonderful cafe. The interior is cozy with charming quirks, offering a great selection of food and drinks. I have always been satisfied with the food, as the portions are generous and service is usually quick.

I have been wanting to visit this place for a while. so today was the day.. it was a disappointment.. the menu is very limited, my halloumi on naan was very tasty but my husbands quesidilla was bland and the amount of salad was so small, he commented as to why they bothered putting it on the plate. He was disgusted with the state of the gents toilets which he said looked as if they had not been cleaned for at least two weeks… Sorry but we won’t be back.

I stopped by this restaurant during my lunch break because I heard they had delicious sandwiches and I wanted to support a local business. I was informed that they had a limited menu and decided to try the bacon and cheese toastie with chili jam. I also ordered a latte to go. The latte was barely warm and I finished it in just a few minutes. The toastie was very basic, using standard bread, and was served in a cardboard box. I found the total cost of £9.40 to be quite high, especially considering the amount of waste from the packaging. It was disappointing overall.

"The place seems unprofessionally run. The staff all look like they could do with a bath. No overalls are worn and their clothes are all of the type that many would wear to lounge around the house in . Several have longer hair and beards but don’t wear any kitchen p.p.e. The decor is shabby and I wondered what kind of hygiene rating they would have. Although not busy, the staff seemed to be disorganised, falling over eachother and lacking in training. They seemed to handle the food in an inexperienced, clumsy fashion. The only tool I saw being used was a pizza peel for taking the pizza in and out of the oven. On all other occasions the food was handled. I didn’t notice any hand washing or alcohol gel in evidence. The menu is quite limited and uninspiring. 2 of the 6 pizza choices include chicken which Italians would argue is definite no no! All pizzas are reheated to order which eliminates the possibility of customisation. I don’t believe the restaurant would stand out in many European countries, as pizza in general is of a much higher standard than that in the UK. In spite of the above, The basic pizza is excellent in taste (even though it is all re-heated). And for this reason it is worth a visit. Compared to other uk pizza restaurants which are typically serving absolute garbage, the food is way out in front. If you can tolerate the negatives I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with the pizza. However with a bit of effort, this place could be transformed into something truly amazing."
