"My wife and I came to Heising for dinner for the second time six years after our first visit. We had great memories of our first visit, and the second one was equally memorable. Dinner at Heising can best be described as classic French food in a turn of the (previous) century ambiance. The setting and decor resemble more a private home than a restaurant. Mrs. Heising and her daughter receive the guests accordingly, and attend to every detail meticulously. The food is very carefully prepared in the classic French style: foie gras, escargot, tenderloin with a cream sauce, bavarois, etc. The chef is from Perigord, as Mrs. Heising will explain. All of the dishes we tried were perfectly prepared. If you are looking for an old-style French dinner in Berlin, I highly recommend Heising."

Der Abend begann mit einer herzlichen Begrüßung. Die Einrichtung ist französisch. Das vorzügliche Essen wird stilvoll u.a. auf Porzellan der KPM serviert.Ein empfehlenswertes Erlebnis zum Wohlfühlen.

We sound this hidden gem and were really positively surprised. It was a truely family restaurant with a cozy feeling. I can really recommend this restaurant. We had a five-course menu wine, I add some pictures.

Top-Küche in Oma-Atmosphäre. Französische Küche, fachkundig beraten und bedient von der Dame des Hauses und Tochter als Sommeliere (sagt man das so?). Lecker, speziell, einmale Location. Schön, dass es sowas noch gibt.

WOW!! This is a very special restaurant, one of the oldest in Berlin and definitely the best service! I was lucky to find a table there on a short notice due to the train strike.. reserve in advance!! The food was unbelievable! I chose 3 course menu- and loved all of the dishes. The owner came to greet me and checked everything is ok.. And the waiters were very professional and attending! Would love to go back on my next trip to Berlin. FYI- they accept only cash payments- so prepare in advance.

This Beautiful restaurant is a very personal experience, it is very unique and there is no other restaurant in Berlin like this. It is an absolutely beautiful experience The food and wine is absolutely sublime. The Medoc wine was deep ruby red with beautiful flavours. The food is Second to none with the quality superb.What's most important It that the restaurant is run by a family for nearly 40 years now and they are the most friendly people I've ever met. I would love to return when I'm in Berlin.

Dit is qua bediening en kwaliteit van gerechten en service ongetwijfeld een topper in Berlijn. Men kan 's avonds enkel voor menu's kiezen, maar de gerechten zijn kwalitatief top. Vergeleken met Belgische restaurants, is dit voor ons zeker 2 sterren waard. Is uiteraard wel duurder dan de andere, populaire restaurants in de buurt, maar kwaliteit heeft zijn prijs en valt uiteindelijk nog veel goedkoper uit dan vergelijkbare resto's in België.. Het interieur kan als "gezellig ouderwets "omschreven worden.

I had spotted this restaurant from last year and I wanted to visit....you ring the bell and immediately you are "somewhere else..away from the city.There are few tables,music from the 1920's andgreat service from the lady that owns the restaurant and her daughter.A small set menu with 3 or 4 dishes.You can take an idea from my pictures.The food is ok,it's not a medium budget restaurant...but I thing what made our nightspecial was the overall combination of personalservice with the fact that you feel that you are in your friends living room.
