from 2130h the music becomes much louder and the bar dominates. Eat is good. the price of the wine is too high.

Excellent food , superb service and pleasant ambience (continously over 2 weeks we have visited). Definitely recommendable.

I wish I had found this bar earlier, it has to be one of the best cocktail bars in Germany. Amazing creativity, wonderful tasting food and extremely good value. The bar staff are amazing..

Went to Herzog after work for drinks and bar food. The selection of food was very good. The chips and avocado snacks were very good. Not everything was fried, so that was a plus. The only downside was the white wine wasn't cold/cool.

my table reservation would simply be ignored. we were there at the time of 20:45, but the table was occupied. after 25min waiting time the table was still occupied. the man at the reception said that the guests came later and they just eat. super service! thanks for a nice evening. we have starved. I missed it so far, but this seems to be a hot spot of Munich's yuppie society for the last year. For this service I as surprisingly personal and not at all arrogant. Setting is club elegant with a touch of class. Our food was...very good, very well prepared and high quality ingredients. Creme brûlée was even special. I really loved their wine selection with great choice in German and Austrians but also surprisingly reasonable priced outstanding Spaniards. Recommended. For an old style business environment maybe a bit too loud

We left angry. However, receptionist and waitress outside were phenomenal: friendly and engaged. And the food preparation was excellent and so were the drinks. Good scene to be seen! BUT we waited for almost an hour for the food, while everyone else got their dinner!...When asking we got a snappy reply. When the food was finally served we got totally different sides: how can you replace radicchio with gnocchi? The waiter did not seem to care nor apologized but was again talking back! Sorry, not okay if we pay >100€ for a simple dinner. He even top it by not even offering a coffee or anything for the inconvenience. This man should not be serving on guests. Horrible.

We (4 people total) had dinner on Saturday night at Herzog. The interior is very sleek and cozy thanks To the dark colors and wood. The drink menu is quite impressive and unusual, we all had cocktails to start with and enjoyed the presentation and...drinks. The food menu is much more reduced, the dishes very unique in combination of ingredients. I would describe it as contemporary/ fusion cuisine, some Fish some meet some veggie dishes. For dessert there were only 2 Choices. We ordered 4 different dishes and were very happy with all of them regarding size and quality. We felt it was adequate for the fairly high prices.
