"Although I regularly travel to Mainfranken, the Hinterhöfle is one of my new discoveries this year. It works in its overall ambience very large-scale and well designed and even better marketed, including own home magazine! The restaurant is located in the very picturesque city centre and is currently relatively poorly accessible due to some roadblocks, especially on weekends. In any case, last weekend we had a good time walking through the neighborhood until a parking space suddenly occurred. Already at the first approach I felt a surprising Wowww feeling. During my visit to the last WE, the restaurant was magnificent in the evening. A second table was released only by chance. My antipasti plate, which was specially known as GROSS and found among the main dishes, was rather something for the hollow tooth. My Pinot from the region (2,50 was wonderfully splashy and fresh and slightly pearling. But no one could tell me why the small amount was served in an impressive giant glass where the contents of a whole bottle had been matched. Not even the boss there who made the round at the end. Apparently the wine glasses are chosen as desired? You have to look for the way to the toilet, he's a little worn out. There are plenty of toilet articles for use and when going out to the restaurant you can also get a few snacks or wines on the course. All in all, I was very excited about the location when the noise level just shredded me a little and my portion did not really fill me. For this, the Wasabi heirs on the table are free. Wiederholt haben wir in den vergangenen Jahren eine Zwischenübernachtung genutzt für den Besuch des Hinterhöfles. Wir sind nie enttäuscht worden, so war auch gestern der Abend mit Schäufele und Saibling ein Genuss, nicht zuletzt durch den aufmerksamen Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schade, dass ein schönes Restaurant mit einem aussergewöhnlichen Ambiente, im Preis- Leistungsverhältnis was die Speisen betrifft, nicht zufriedenstellend war. Die Hoffnung dass sich durch den Wechsel in der Geschäftsführung etwas verändert/ verbessert hat, wurde leider nicht erfüllt. Der große Salatteller mit riesigen und nur schwer zu zerteilenden Salatblättern der günstigsten Sorte, diverse andere Salatsorten, drei kleine Stücke Weißbrot und ein Dressing, kostet hier sage und schreibe 15,00 €. Fünf Stangen Spargel, der zu hart und nicht gewürzt war, mit zwei Kartoffeln und Butter, für 21,50 € und die Krönung waren zwei Bratwürste für 10,00 €.
