Ho Ho - Carta

We use Ho Ho as our Chinese takeaway and have done for many many years. Food and prices always spot on.

Their Chow Mein was good. I recommend it, but it might be too oily for some people. I tried the mixed meat chow mein.

Great flavours, generous portions, hot and very tasty. This is one Chinese take away I’ll return to. They only accept cash, but you can order via Just Eat if you want to pay by card.

The food was delicious and arrived within the expected time frame. Despite being a large order on New Year's Eve, it was delivered within an hour. I will definitely be using this restaurant regularly from now on.

Picked up a meal, took it home had one mouthful competely inedible.... Took it back, they refused to refund my money. I left my takeaway on the counter, it was so awful. I will never go back again. We ordered a 4-course meal at this restaurant. Unfortunately, none of the dishes were enjoyable. The egg fried rice was missing eggs and resembled porridge, the noodle dish was overly greasy with rubbery, flavorless chicken and various tasteless ingredients, including only 2 small shrimps. The low prices should have been a hint that the food was basic and budget quality.

Been ordering from Ho Hos for probaby 10 years, every month or so. Always fantastic, always really enjoy it, as do my wife and daughters. Only problem is that it's so good I always overorder, as I want to sample so many dishes! Still, the leftovers taste just as good (or even better) reheated the next day. Favourite dishes include the peking duck, chicken (or pork) sweet and sour balls, spare ribs (we usually get two of those to avoid arguments), chow mein, beef and green pepper, chicken and cashew nuts, special fried rice...

I recently ordered a takeaway from this restaurant through JustEat, spending £70. This was only my second time ordering from them. While we enjoyed our meal the first time, this experience was disappointing. The food I received was incorrect, and when I complained through JustEat, I was given a poor excuse. I ordered 2 portions of satay chicken but received garlic chicken instead. The excuse was that they have their own recipes and cooking techniques, but it seemed like a flimsy excuse to me. The quality of the rest of the meal was also subpar. As a fully qualified chef myself, I believe it is important for businesses to own up to their mistakes and make them right.
