Ho Ho Take Away Foods

Quality Chinese, loadsa grub for price, nice little find. I work down here through week and was giving up on finding a decent chinky, But this is the one.

I ordered food for delivery, received confirmation, but never received the food and haven't gotten a response from the restaurant. This is completely shocking.

Very friendly, very quick (we ordered and waited and it was 15mins, Massive portions and king prawns. We had sweet and sour chicken balls, kung pow chicken, Singapore noodles and mixed veg. Would deffo reccomend, hidden gem especially for those local. Ver carta

The restaurant is no longer the same since the Ho family no longer owns it. We ordered a takeaway that was bland and overly greasy. We ended up throwing most of it away. There are much better Chinese restaurants in Guildford that offer delivery services compared to this one.

Looks like either new owners or a rethink in the kitchen. The food is back on top and the best Chinese takeaway is back on top. Food tasted so fresh, not greasy or a funny taste. This used to be my favourite but something changed a few years back so we stopped ordering from there. Heard a rumour so we checked it out and wasn't disappointed. Welcome back Ho Ho

Absolutely awful. Tried for the first time for delivery for 4 people . If you like salt this is the place to go. None of us ate more than a few mouthfuls before leaving the food as so much salt we were gagging and desperate for a drink . We ordered 6 different dishes so can’t even say it was a mistake with one dish as all exactly the same. Total waste of money and had to order elsewhere -oriental express which was amazing Ver carta

My first meal from here and not a good experience. All dishes with sauce had a strong vinegar flavour which was rather unpleasant. The beef with mushrooms was excessively salty. The sweet and sour pork was full of gristle. The chow mein was the best dish we had. All in all a huge disappointment and very expensive for what we got. I would not recommend, and would not return there. I will try other Chinese takeaways in the area.

Great food and reasonable prices, they do deliver but can be touch and go if they are on just eat which is the only way they accept card payments. If they deliver themselves or you collect it’s cash only which is a bit of a pain at times as rarely have cash on me, so have to detour to the garage for a cashpoint that is free to use. Lovely people running it, parking is awful if you collect as residential road. But the food is worth the aggro

This Chinese takeaway may not have a Michelin star, but it delivers delicious food at a reasonable price. We tried HO HO for the first time, as our usual takeaways were closed on Tuesday. The crispy duck was tender and flavorful, not over-fried. The special chow mein was packed with sauce, chicken, and veggies, while the chicken curry was superb. The chilli crispy beef had a hint of honey in the sauce, which added a nice touch. We fed 5 people for £50, including delivery, and had plenty of food. HO HO has become our go-to spot for Chinese takeout, as the other options have been "fired". Ver carta
