"If I could leave 0 stars I would. Ordered a takeaway, but the order was declined due to lack of ingredients, sweet and sour prawns, hard to believe, but never mind. I asked for the order without the prawns, but was told it would take 1.5 hours to get to Southsea, so no takeaway. The guy sounded like he could not be bothered to do the order. The money was taken out of my account and I still have not received a refund almost a week later. I keep getting told that the manager has to do it and he will call, but I am fed up waiting. Appalling service and unacceptable and theft. Be careful when you order from this place."

When I was at college this was one of the coolest places to go. Now it just seems like it's all deliveroo or Uber riders. Food is still good though.

OMG!!! LOVE IT, Just like Really Hong Kong Street Cafe, tastes really nice Char Siu Pork Chilli Beef Perfect Rice Yummy with The Real Chinese/Hong Kong Experience, very cheap prices good portion, no thrills cafe.

Hong Kong Tea Bar was my dad's favourite Chinese. He passed away recently and we have visited a few times in recent weeks while sorting out his house. Always good, reasonably priced, food, I can see why he liked it so much.

last week had an epic firm when they were looking for the best and most authentic Chinese cuisine in portsmouth, this is the place to eat! the duck and pork dishes literally melt in the mouth. pak choi with garlic is sooo delicious! dumplings immersed in chili oil are over delicious. the service here is politely fast and very friendly. also one of the owners is a very beautiful man.
