Horton Inn - Carta

We had a table for 8 people for Sunday lunch and enjoyed a fantastic Sunday roast and burgers on the patio. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the service was prompt.

If you announce on your website that food is available until 3:00pm do not tell customers who arrive at 2:30pm that the kitchen is closed! This is totally unacceptable. Will not trouble you with our custom ever again.

Four of us visited for a pre Christmas supper. The food exceeded our expectations by a long way! I had fajitas which I have never seen on the menu before. They were excellent. My husband had a pie and chips which he declared very good.... Ver carta

I stayed for two nights and enjoyed a good breakfast at this restaurant. Just be aware that the kitchen closes early, so make sure to check if it will still be open when you arrive. The staff were fantastic, with a special thank you to Fran.

Lovely clean inviting pub , staff very friendly helpful and attentive . Starter and main meals were lovely with good size portions. The only downside is the deserts which are lovely need to be cheaper or bigger as not value for money. But the rest of the evening was lovely so well worth a visit Ver carta

I stayed in a twin en-suite room at the Horton Inn for bed and breakfast for a few nights. The room was a good size and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The cooked breakfast was excellent. I chose the Horton Inn because it is conveniently located near the New Forest without being too expensive. I had dinner at the restaurant both nights and although the food was good, the service was a bit slow. The staff were very friendly and most importantly, they are dog-friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

I visited the Horton Inn earlier this month with my wife and my mother. We had driven past on many occasions but had not ventured in. My wife is diagnosed as Coeliac so we spoke with the member of staff when ordering our food. We were assured that the kitchen could produce gluten free meals. The meal arrived and was ok. When we got home my wife was violently ill. This could not have been caused by a slight cross contamination it was caused by my wife being given a large quantity of gluten. What a disappointing pub which is such as a shame when it has soo much potential.. Called in to have a bite to eat got shown to a table but then was ignored another table came in and they got served and got asked what they wanted to drink immediately, had to ask twice for some drinks and even then didn't get the drinks we ordered unfortunately it looks like they employee weekend staff that are not familiar with the drinks but how difficult is it to get an orange juice and lemonade wrong, obviously quite easily.!!!
