"A real disappointment. The location is just off of the main square, so it is easy to find. We are early eaters (by Italian standards) and we had a reservation for 7:30. When we arrived, there was no one at the restaurant. However, with three of us, they refused to give us a table for four (arguing that it was not a table for 3) and sat us uncomfortably at a table for two (failing to see that this was also not a table for 3). In addition, the table that they gave us was near a sewer. No attempts to convince them that we would like another table worked. By the time we left the restaurant, many of those tables were still empty. The food was ok. The scallops au gratin were more breadcrumbs than seafood, and we had much better scallops in other places. The main dish was grilled seafood that had no taste of being grilled, but more the taste of being overcooked. When we asked the waitstaff about potential side orders, they had no idea. The food was uninteresting and not inexpensive. There are so many exciting places to eat all over the city this restaurant is definitely not one of them."

Excellent meal . The staff are very welcoming. We arrived after a 24 hr journey so we ate light. Would like to come back and eat the Italian way.

I highly recommend taking the mixed appetizer with cod, marinated anchovies with red fruits and salmon. the first but did not fully meet my expectations

dinner for two in this restaurant in the center of Trieste. very nice location and refined menu (many variations of classic dishes.) average high prices. recommended spaghetti with crab.

very friendly host and very kind staff, always attentive to the customer. of course exquisite food with great care in the details. in my opinion, the price is right for all the service offered

Nicely presented and cooked seafood at a friendly restaurant in Central Trieste. Fairly busy, which is a good sign, so service a little slow but not annoyingly so. Enjoyed the meal and would recommend, but a reservation may be worthwhile if you eat during the busy 1900-2100 period.
