Very friendly service and excellent meal. A gourmet restaurant for high but not excessive prices.

Magnificent restaurant, very welcoming staff, very pleasant setting! We feel the respect for the product on the plate, where each bite is a taste pleasure. I can only recommend!

Menu was set but due to my dietary constraint (vegetarian) they served me a vegetarian menu. Food was tasty, fresh and creative. Service was very good. Totally immensely enjoyed the experience

Superb food experience! The food taste magnificent and the service was comfortable too. Every single bite was a journey. No exaggeration, one of the best fine dinning restaurants I’ve ever been! We will definitely come back!

Food is good, presentation of the plates are great, sauces and blending of taste and colours are refined and one can see there's a lot of effort behind it. One off point though. A condescending attitude from one of your personnel was not great but we'll definitely come again for the food.

My favorite place in Fribourg! The friendly crew creates a relaxed atmosphere in this great place in the center of the town. If you go there as a couple, ask for one of the small tables on the balcony with a stunning view of the...old city. What comes in your plate is plain bliss. Go with the menu and just taste chef Frédérik's creations which are adapted to the season and feature mainly local produce. You can often see him choosing fresh fruits and vegetables at the local market which takes place every Saturday morning in front of the restaurant. If you want to taste this great cooking without spending much money, go for the meal at lunchtime.

in no case was our first visit, although we were not in a few years. the first time for lunch. Fixed menu, no à la carte, changes difficult, but was possible for one of the party. very good service. wee prices are normal exorbitant, but. that is the Swiss starter was an interesting lens soup that I would not have guessed was lenses without being said. main dish huh in a velouté sauce. okay, but the sweet was really on the cool side. the desert was an apple sorrow, which seemed to do with that as if they were a couli of brombeer and red johannisbeeren. the sorbet was good the coulis a little bitter. on the side we had excellent brot that comes from the exciting new bakery in fribourgs ugliest...

Reservations are a must! If you are planning to visit Fribourg and want to eat in a very classy, old fashioned atmosphere with a superb service and gastronomic food at affordable prices, this is the place to go. You can have a lunch menu for...CHF29.00 and if you do not want a dessert, it is only CHF 23.00 (Mind you that Big Mac Menu in Switzerland is CHF 15. ! But this has nothing to do with price the overall package of this Fribourg's gastronomical temple is where you get the most value.
