"The 2 ladies we saw were very polite, helpful and nothing was a problem to them. We had the pensioners Fish Chips which included Peas, Bread Butter plus a hot drink. The fish chips were cooked perfect portions were generous. When we left we thank the ladies for a wonderful meal the best fish chips we had for ages. Will be returning there when next in Taunton. There is a good selection of other meals as well and what we saw with other customer looked wonderful. Will order something different to fish chips next time"

Fish and chips nice ,ordered 3 curry sauces only got 2 and they was awful like runny gravy ,bland no taste at all

large fish n chips and tee, although no scraps. basic seating and waiter service. the older staff was a bit dirty and toilets could have been cleaner. Ver carta

I Went here before the Adele Songbook event and had such a lovely time. The fish and chips were perfect and the staff so friendly and accommodating. I loved it.

only the best fish and chips cooked fresh and always hot and tasty, always go here when I visit taunton and have never been disappointed large menu and many choices, even if fish is not their ding, gorgeous place friendly service

I asked for a medium cheesy chips and was told we only do small or large cheesy chips. Are you kidding me! It's chips with cheese on it. Just do a medium chips and put some cheese on it you moron. I couldn't even be bothered to argue with the grubby looking brain dead server. Chips where dry and overcooked. Ver carta

It had to be the very worst fish and chips I have ever bought it was in fact inedible and had it not been pouring down with rain I would have returned it to the shop .the batter was not cooked properly the chips hardly cooked at all and still white the whole meal was disgusting .and went into the rubbish bin .

Only popped in for a bag of chips and gravy. Absolutely full marks. The two young ladies serving were happy and polite. The chips get my best ever score of 9.5 out of 10. Chippies are lucky to get a 5 for their chips. These were so close to home made perfection and is why I scored them so high. They were chunky, brown and full of real potato.
