Used to be a must go in Taormina! But this time awfully disappointing. Pasta a la ndujia (sausage) but without a bit of sausage and lots of red pepper to hide the truth. Staff not nice at all!

During our recent holiday in Taormina we ate 3 times in 8 days at this fantastic restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the lemon meatballs, grilled octopus and the house appetiser platter. The staff and boss are very friendly- can't wait to return. Ver carta

This review is based on only one dinner and restricted to the dishes we ordered. For antipasto we ordered octopus and it was not up to standard, it was chewey. I ordered spaghetti with octopus for a first and and obviously not pleased with the octopus. My wife ordered ravaioli. There were only 6 of average size burried in a cream sauce. Nothing special. The server seemed indiferrent until I started to communicate with her in Italian. Not value for money.

How wonderful! This charming place is located in a side and quiet street of Taormina from which you can see the sea. Already from the beginning we understand the friendliness of the managers. We're two and have lunch on the outside terrace. We order, to start, sea appetizer and fish to the carpaccio. The seconds chosen are homemade spaghetti and pasta with pistachio sauce. Everything is really superlative! The flavors are simple but decisive and tasty. The very abundant portions. In a few restaurants we enjoyed such good products. I highly recommend it!!!

We visited on the first night of our holiday because of the great reviews. We arrived around 5-6pm and it was very quiet. The owner was so lovely. Really friendly and welcoming. He kindly put on the air conditioning for me as I get hot and we were sitting inside! He made us feel comfortable and right at home. He helped us to order and gave recommendations. He also adapted one of our meals to suit one of our requirements. My Dad has not stopped going on about the food at this restaurant. He absolutely loved it.
