Me, my family and some friends had lunch here and we all loved it! Traditional meal for a very good price! I highly recommend it

Amazing restaurant, located next to the archeological museum, also close (10 minutes walk) from the beach. The food is super delicious, fresh fish, and lobster! We tried the lobster spaghetti and ravioli gamberi. It was amazing!

The restaurant is located inside the archeological complex, which means that its costumers are generally not terribly demanding mainly visitors to the Etruscan necropolis who have spent a long time in the relentless Tuscan sun and are now looking for any place to get some food and refreshments. Consequently, the restaurant can afford to charge higher than average prices for meals that are by no means bad but are not remarkable either.

Dining at the Tretruschi is always a great pleasure! The setting is amazing. A restaurant located inside a necropolis close to the sea in a beautiful gulf. The food is incredible. Some of the best fish I ever had. Fresh, tasty and cooked beautifully! Not to mention the home made cakes! It is definitely worth a visit or a detour just to eat there at a very reasonable price!! My favorite dishes? Spaghetti with lobster, deep fried anchovies and the tortino degli Etruschi, a very special kind of cheesecake with a warm heart inside! Gaetano and his partners have developed dining perfection in a location at the Archeological Park in the Golfo di Baratti in Piombino. All ingredients are fresh especially the fish which is line caught and served daily direct from the boats. The produce is all local too. They make fresh pasta. And there is a pastry chef on staff who makes the most amazing desserts especially the Etruscan baked cheesecake. The wines are local and intoxicating. Best of all was our server Gaetano who watched over us, chatted, made great recommendations and treated us royally. The prices are all reasonable. Would I dine here again? Yes, of course. This restaurant is inside the Parco Archeologico di Baratti e Populonia right next to the visitor 's center. There were two of us for a light lunch on a Sunday. As we were saving our energy for a hike up to some of the Etruscan tombs, we did not have wine. I had a mixed cheese and meat appetizer that was quite ample for two with a great cheese, terrific prosciutto, a pancetta, a Genoa type salami, and a pickled artichoke. My wife had a house salad that was again ample for the both of us. She had a seafood ravioli with baby shrimp and I had the fried anchovies. Definitely do NOT think about the cured, salted anchovies. These were fresh, filleted, very lightly breaded and fried to perfection....
