"Chinese restaurant 1.2 km from the Royal Palace of Venaria, I recommend both first and second courses, they are all above average. Everything is very good. Fast service with a change of dishes at each course. It also has a wood-fired oven for pizzas. Menu with very interesting dishes. Cost complete 3-course lunch and coffee: 20 euros each. Excellent and cheap Chinese restaurant in Venaria Reale. We had dinner for two with a plate of mixed vegetables, a crab soup and two Thai squids. Mineral water and medium beer. "The restaurant was a little tricky to find (to the right of where you enter the palace), but once inside everything was smooth sailing. We thought we would go with the 5 course menu because we always end up overstuffed with tasting menus. At the last minute we decided to go with the 7 course menu and we were glad we did, since it ended up being a perfect amount of food. The dishes weren't overly complicated and instead let the main fresh ingredients shine, which we appreciated. One of our favorite parts of the meal, were the wine pairings. All the wines were delicious and fit the menu perfectly. The only slightly negative thing I could say about the experience was that the restaurant itself was kind of plain looking and didn't quite fit the splendor of the area around it (palace). That being said, the views from the terrace were absolutely beautiful and made up for the simplicity of the inside."

"Yesterday evening I attended the table of social wine, Thursday 27 May. it was not a very funny dinner because it pushes people to socialize and get curious about the history of the wines served. christian contu, chef of the house, managed with his imagination to combine exceptionally the dishes to the wines, highlighting the flavors with care and aromas. a combination and a journey that ignites together the olfactory and Gothic experience. the evening was dedicated to the Tuscan region and the chestnut, concluded with a nice quiz, but each appointment has a host region . "inn located in the beautiful park of the herd (absolutely advisable for a nice walk and perhaps with a visit to the royal gardens of the palace). you leave the car at the parking lot (free) adjacent to the park and with about minutes walk you arrive at the inn. old farmhouse, outside left as at the origin, internally restored with care creating a really beautiful and hospitable environment. bar on the ground floor (summer outdoor dehort) and on the first floor two rooms not so large with magnificent stained glass windows overlooking the park. Menu from euro (excellent quality/quality/price ratio) with appetizers in one dish, one first, one second with contour, sweet, water and wine in carafe and coffee. possibility of varying dishes and kitchen suitable for celiacs. really a nice experience and surprise. we will return and advice"
