"Dicono che mangi del buon pesce a Civitavecchia. Qui, invece, si mangia pesce eccellente, fresco e combinato in piatti mozzafiato! Ero letteralmente eccitato dalle combinazioni di ingredienti nel piatto. Verdura, verdura e pesce vengono combinati, cotti e presentati in modo elegante, innovativo e succulente. L'antipasto caldo-fred è il loro biglietto da visita e il riconoscimento. Un piatto pieno di piccoli gusti, quasi finger-food che stuzzica il palato e apre la fame. Spesso cambia grazie all'immaginazione dello chef e mi sorprende ogni volta. Bel contorno salse. I primi sono tutti invitanti e il sapore fortemente riconoscibile. Questa è una garanzia che le materie prime siano fresche. Secondi di pesce in linea con il resto del menu. In realtà, non ci sono parole. Personale cordiale, attento al cliente e presente per qualsiasi esigenza. Musica di fondo da accompagnare, in un ambiente rustico ma rilassante. Vino eccellente e carta amara difficilmente disponibile altrove. Torno spesso. Consigliato!"

"Great atmosphere and great service (minus wine understanding). The issue we had here was expectations and so maybe the issue is ours alone. We've been to Michelin rated restaurants (ranging from a mention to 3 stars). The food at Forma was very good, but just not at the level similar to previous rated restaurants we've been to before. That being said, the bill was 1/5 what we have paid before (1/15 in the case of Alinea) although it did cost $5k to get to Italy). Everything we had was with truffles and our expectation was the normal bold and delicious black/white truffle flavor. In this case they were present, there was A LOT of them, but that distinctive flavor was not there. It's likely that there's a difference between what we're used to and what this was and we'll accept that as immaturity. Nonetheless, I would recommend Forma, just with minor reservations (don't ask for wine advice)"

"I have carved numerous restaurants looking for what most responded to the needs of a romantic evening, without too much confusion, with sea views at sunset and putting the sea on the spot once the sun was down, where I could eat the excellent fresh fish cooked both traditionally and with estrogen and fantasy. at the end the choice fell on the outside of which I had read the flattering reviews decided to try with the hand if they responded to the truth. we were sitting at a table located near the merlons of the longport from which you can enjoy a suggestive view of the water mirror below. in addition to the boats footprints and ships from cruise on the background it is possible to admire the ancient arm of the lazarus pyro that together with the pier of the glass (now missing) inspired the warrior pop ii, engaged in the construction of the fort michelangelo (well visible from the restaurant), commissioning a similar form to the architect berni for the realization of the famous colonnade of san pietro. we are in a place rich in history, the port of trajan, with all the successive historical stratifications and already this represents a point in favor. we are greeted by andrea that immediately puts us at ease and after breaking the ice shows us a tray where they make beautiful shows a huge dentice, some lobsters live, a red shield and four eyelets or pieces (a delicious tag) all fresh, I say it with the knowledge of why I am a underwater fisherman, we recommend on the dishes present in the menu and on some variation of the same for those who present situations of allergies. we start with appetizer of the chef who reveals particular for the combinations including a piece of tuna has shaken perfectly, with sublime goto, combined with a friggitello but also the other mouths are very pleasant. the only thought is that the portion is perhaps to be supplemented, but then we understand why...the first and second, taken separately with my commensale, are very abundant at a point that I can not finish the contour. the cutlery to the scorpion is a delicacy and are brought, inside a plate apart, the head of the scorpion; thought is appreciated being one of the best parts of the fish when it is very fresh. the frying has an excellent panatura that turns out crisp while the inside is very good. we conclude with a generous lemon sorbet and a bean offered by the restaurant and that is a delicious fruit of mandarin liqueur of the wise hands of the wonderful mother of the chef. We can only compliment the morning chef and his staff who convey the passion for the work they carry and that is never served. the perfect price, less than many other locals of the same level."
