Really good, light and tasty. Absolutely recommended are the tuna tartare, the tagliolini with clams and the mixed fried fish. The manager was very kind and friendly. "Our family spent 8 days in Pietra. We ate Caruggi twice, would have gone a third time. Very friendly and accommodating (daughter wanted a simple spaghetti pomodoro no problem). The food tastes great and the prices are in line. Pasta with seafood, small homemade gnocchi with shrimp and zucchini, ravioli…something for everyone. They also offer seafood paella, minimum 2 people and allow 45 minutes. Recommend also the house white wine and french fries/homemade potatoes for a hungry family starter. All food and the bill served in a timely manner. Note, menus also in English and German"

"piacevole sorpresa, da un giovane luca ma con esperienza eccellente che suggerisce ottimi aperitivi, taglierina, carni e vini e sono tutti come li descrive! abbiamo preso 4 aperitivi, consigli spritz taglierine alternative di carni e formaggi (sembra un classico ma nei prodotti serviti non è tagliato di salsicce tipo bra' spettacolare, costole di maiale (indescrivibile che devono essere presi punto, si sciolgono, si fondono, nel taglio, in bocca. Costo di vitello ottime patate fritte e patate al forno, 3 bicchieri di pecorina, due litri d'acqua e 1 tiramisù...128€ siamo ociti ricordando che cosa buono abbiamo mangiato e tutto il personale giovane! buoni ragazzi un piacere vedere la passione, la cortesia e l'impegno che si mette in un ex macellaio storico, per trovare di ragazzi come questo! poi aggiungere che il posto non è sul classico lungo mare o nel classico villaggio di finale."

"My partner was really excited about coming here because of all the fantastic reviews. The service was excellent but the food was okay. We had the octopus salad and it was very bland. Nothing special. Then we had the long pasta with shrimp and artichokes. Unfortunately, it was way too salty. The shrimps were excellent but the dish was way too salty. For our main dish we had fried mixed (it was good but was missing some kind of sauce). It just didn’t have a wow factor. We also had the fish of the day with artichokes, which was slightly overcooked. The salad as a side dish was good. We also order a tiramisu (nothing special). The chocolate cake was excellent- very light and delicious. Overall my partner was very disappointed. I think this is because we had high expectations. Location and service was great but the food did not have wow factor."
