"Valentine’s Day meal was amazing as were the staff who kindly let us in despite some complications. My seafood pasta was absolutely delicious and packed with seafood. The calamari starter also took me right back to my travels on the Amalfi coast. Just a note of warning however, at peak times I would call to confirm a booking because when we arrived we were told they were receiving more open table bookings than available seats so bookings made on the night were actually invalid even though opentable was showing availability they however still seated us as the guy calling the shots was kind and appreciated that we had come all the way."

It's a basic restaurant decor and good for families. On the downside it can get a bit noisy and the chairs aren't especially comfortable but on the positive, the food, menu and service are all good and it's reasonably good value. Ver carta

Busy Valentines night with a fullhouse and the restaurant delivered as always. 10 out of 10 food and service, even with a fullhouse. Got the Mascalzone, pasta arribiata and penne bolognese...same authentic taste we are used to. Proper home made ingredients bring a taste of Italy.

Very very busy, as expected for Valentines of course. We were tucked away in a small space near the entrance and when there was a queue of people (like there was all evening) it felt cramped and like we were squashed. But as regular customers, the food is outstanding and never fails to impress. I recommend the Zucchini Gamberi platter as it’s our favourite, also don’t forget to order the original “Amaro Montenegro” digestive shot after dinner (even before) as it is a really good Italian liqueur. Will see Mascalzone again soon
