"I really wanted to like this local restaurant that others had recommended as authentic. However, I was quite disappointed. The special, lasagna, was not as expected as it was missing key ingredients like bechamel sauce and mozzarella. Instead, it was just lasagna sheets with ragu sauce and a few sprinklings of leaf around the edges. It was not the hearty, baked meal I was hoping for, and left me still hungry. The dessert menu did not appeal to me either, as I was looking for tiramisu or a creamy mousse like pannacotta. The only tiramisu available was in chunks with ice cream, served as a sundae. The only non-ice cream dessert option was a "sticky cake." Our table for four was cramped, with our knees touching under the table and not enough space for side plates. It seemed that the restaurant had a large booking elsewhere, even though we had made a reservation. However, the staff were friendly and our son enjoyed his margherita pizza."

absolutely fanatic place! it is the favorite place of our family to eat in a circle of 20 miles. such a hidden gem. amazing handmade pizzas. the personal and the owner are simply wonderful for the customers. they make us feel like family every time.

We had an excellent meal at this restaurant. It is a charming family-owned establishment with a wonderful ambiance. The food is exceptional, incredibly authentic, and the decor complements it perfectly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Staff were very sweet! I told them we were getting married and they dressed up the table for us, and were really lovely. The food was pretty good too, and the atmosphere was great. Also they were exactly the right amount of attentive, not too much, not too little

I'm here a few times and I'm always blown away from the experience. my partner and I are both vegan and they have many possibilities to accommodate! Not to mention the vegan pizzas may be the best pizza I ever had. beautiful friendly and helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere, could not recommend enough!

It's the customer service and portion sizes which makes this place excellent! Family owned and run, Il Padrino does traditional pizzas and mega calzone (we had to get half as takeaway) plus amazing traditional dishes and wine. We had such a lovely c chat with the family and they really want to make your night special. Spectacular!

This lovely restaurant is truly a wonderful place to satisfy your Italian food needs. The staff are very helpful and friendly with some of the best hospitality I've ever seen. The food is simply incredible and is made fresh with every order. A beautiful informal little restaurant with an amazing atmosphere surrounded by an ambience that would make you think you're in Italy. A experience not to be missed.
