We have been to this restaurant many times and it has been very consistent in the quality of the food. Pizzas are delicious and served very quickly. There is a a good take out trade in pizza and other delights. The service is attentive without being invasive. The menu has many dishes to offer. The atmosphere is casual, local and pleasant.

I often come with family and I tease Palo the waiter that is Inter supporter while I am Milan AC fan( in this period he teases me more). That is because the environment is relaxed, fun and the quality/price of the food is absolutely great. Only note preventing a fiver star, place is crowded and tables are near, so expect some noise but again, a place worth coming from center town if you prefer quality, good stuff and abundant quantity for a fair price rather than image and snobism. Some beers and Belgium typical things like waffles added to a typical restopizzeria menu are absolutely outstanding and a surprise for people not knowing belgian food.

There is no way I would have predicted that we would ne at Il Pellicano. We were staying at Casal Palocco and I looked at TA and it looked interesting. We drove and ended up at another restaurant close by. It was empty and I thought bad mistake. Once we found it we walked in and it was busy and buzzing so it was lucky we booked. I had a pasta with truffle and asparagus which was different and interesting. Combined with the 2006 Brunello I was in heaven. My wife had a very good turbot and potato dish. All the time pizza was leaving at a rapid rate. The owner taking personal control of there cooking and finishing touches. Very much recommended and if I get back before we fly out I will have a...
