The food was really bad and it took a long time for the wait staff to notice us! We ordered a pizza and they gave us a lot of eggplant pieces which tasted very weird. The pasta we had ordered was extremely aldente !! It could have been cooked another minute or so. Overall we had a bad experience with local food that people praise so much about. It's not good . Food served up was very poor. I'd be hesitant to serve this food to guests at home. It was edible and not so bad you'd return it but I struggle to believe a professional chef made it . What's disappointing is not the waste of money but the opportunity. When you are only in rome for 5 nights that's only five dinners. Which you'll wish this one at this restaurant wasn't one of them. Also watch out for the added service charge for delivering this stodge. Ver carta
