Il Timo Gourmet At Sheraton Catania

We ate 3 nights here. 2 of them was excellent, the third was forgettable. I do not know why, but we do not have the same day every they either.

The people reviewed above 3 stars clearly dont go outside the hotel. This place has average pasta and overcooked fish. Dont recommend. Only okay for lunch and snaks

Ate here a few times during our stay at resort. Ordered same things wasn’t consistent re tastes. Still good. Prob more of a 3.5 rating for my tastes. Servers friendly helpful.

I had another good seasonal pizza last night and I’m pleased to say that I cannot wait to go again in the summer to try another seasonal pizza! Highly recommend the pear pizza

The quality of the food in this restaurant is excellent ! The service is also good ! I would recommend this restaurant if you are close to Aci Castello , it's located inside the Four points Hotel .

The worst meal we had in Sicily and in the running for the worst meal we have ever had. Overpriced. I had the risotto with seafood and it was pathetic and my wife had pasta with meat and could barely eat it. It was so bad I was worried we would get sick, but luckily we did not. The gelatto, wine and cannolis were good.

We stayed at the Four points hotel which was adequate however the evening meal which was a fixed menu was only just edible. After touring round sicily by day the food here in the evening was disappointing and not to the quality i would have expected. It would have been better plated and served from the kitchen than by staff who struggled to plate meals the portions were small and a lack of vegetables on both nights left me wanting a pizza or bar snacks

Hotel restaurant which serves pool area during the day quite well with simple food like fish&chips or burgers and sandwiches. No issue with that as expectations are not high either. We tried dinner once and it was at best an average experience. They try to serve local fish meals but honestly you get much better quality in any village around. Staff could be more attentive and definitely should be faster, waiting for water for 10 minutes with only 3 tables served is not ideal....

My little one wants to become a chef so I read about the chef of Il Timo offering cooking lessons even for kids upon availability. Once we arrived at the Sheraton Catania, I inquired about it and we got to meet Saverio Piazza to discuss options best decision ever! He is such a friendly and happy person. Spending time with him and cooking with the chef himself was the highlight of our one week vacation in Sicily! It started with visiting the fish market together in the morning, picking out different options for the 5 course dinner, then stopping at his yard for choosing spices and vegetables and finally preparing everything together and receiving tons of tips to take home... wish pictures cou...
