We have been visiting this place in a windy day and it was a great refuge! We ate typical Tuscan plates such as wild boar pappardelle and ribollita, and as we are raised up here we can truly say they were special! Arrived with family of 7 for lunch around 13.00. Noboby came for at least 5 mins. Then there was a half hearted welcome. Our waitress was not very warm. My wife ordered the hamburger which was €20 and no taste whatsoever. The rest of the family wasn'nt very happy with there meals too. Our waitress was collecting plates from whoever had finished- rather than waiting for everyone to finish. Overall terrible. Never return.

Was here eight years ago and without hesitation, at the first opportunity, visited again. Order: typical Florentine steak, medium rare. It is the best that can be made from meat. Florentine chianina steaks are on a par with such gourmet dishes as black angus steak, Azerbaijani lamb entrecote and a few others. Soft and juicy steak has a delicate taste. Staff work with a smile. The score corresponds to the quality. Thanks for the fun.

I've visited this restaurant once every year in August while my wife indulges is her her annual shop for designer rubbish. Today I had roast suckling pig good. My wife had sausage with beans very good. The kids had pasta penne with ragu and another penne with meat and cream sauce both good. The house wine, a rosso from Bolgheri wasn't too bad at all. Price was reasonable mid range for lunch in Tuscany. Service was a bit perfunctory and slow but to be fair. It was really busy and it is in a shopping village!
