Had an absolutely amazing meal at Imperial Dynasty. Genuinely the best Chinese I have had! The food was exceptional, the service was brilliant, and the restaurant is a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious. Couldn’t fault it but the service was dreadful there were 4 young waiters probably in their twenties all they kept doing was standing by the bar talking. It was difficult to get their attention. The only other criticism is there is no easy access toilet downstairs fo disabled people. Wheelchair accessibility: None existent. Service: Dine in

Oooh what a shame; this has slipped. We had eaten here several times, always excellent but last night was dull at best and certainly disappointing. Crispy seaweed was not wok fresh. Felt and tasted like it had been sitting around for some time. Noodles not up to the usual standard either. Indonesian beef curry bland and underseasoned. Veg spring rolls still good. Apparently the regular chef(s) have gone for a holiday in Malaysia. Their first since COVID so I hope the enjoy it. I would. But please come back soon This is usually a place we look forward to visiting.

This is a cautionary review for collection customers. The food here is exceptional, it really is if you can get it. However, they have a weird approach to calling in orders/managing the wait time. Knowing they're a bit odd this way and popular. I rang ahead especially to check if they were taking orders, before committing to choices as we had a decent sized party and the food at ID is unique. 5 mins later, they stopped answering the phone. Just off the hook. So after calling for 30mins straight, we drove over. It was an hour and a half wait. This isn't how to run a takeaway. It's a shame, because the food, again, is 5 star.

After confirming by text this afternoon we would be attending our booking we turned up at 730 to be told there was a mix up with our booking. 10 mins later we were shown to the vacant table we had been staring at for the past 10 min. Our 16 year old waitress was very sweet but didn't have a clue about the menu and couldn't answer our questions. When the food arrived it was of poor quality and when we complained about the wok fried squid the waiter said next time to order squid in black bean sauce! The beef in black pepper sauce was sweet and didn't have any pepper. The mussel sauce was nice but mussels overcooked. No one checked to see if we enjoyed our meal. We decided to dine here for my sons birthday a couple of weeks ago on a Friday. Our table was booked for 5.30 so it wasn't the busiest at that time, in fact there was only one other table at the time our food came out. I would like to add I've eaten here before, and had great food and service. The owner was pleasant and showed us to the table, but the waiters/waitresses were quite young and borderline rude. The food was lukewarm- barely edible food on cold plates and not a great atmosphere. When we left the bar staff/waiters didn't acknowledge that we were leaving.
